draw a bath and we can sit in it together?”
Indigo watched as Logan looked longingly at the bed. He knew what would push his mate further toward the bath. Indigo wanted more time to take care of him, and holding his mate in the bath was an idea that wouldn’t let go.
“I’ll light the candles that smell like coffee,” Indigo said against his mate’s ear.
Logan groaned. “Damn it, that sounds really good.”
Indigo pulled Logan toward the bathroom, helping him strip out of his clothes as he got the bath ready, pouring in some bath salt for Logan’s aches and just a cap of bubble bath stuff. Indigo went around the bathroom lighting the three candles that Logan loved. He took his own clothes off and got into the bath, scooting his back against the tub. Logan looked at him, biting his lip.
“Snuggling,” Indigo reminded his mate.
A blush crept up Logan’s cheeks, and Indigo loved the effect he had on the man.
“Right,” Logan muttered. He turned and hit the light switch, and the candlelight cast shadows and a faint glow against Logan.
The sight was stunning in every way. Indigo was transfixed as Logan got into the tub with him, the bubbles covering his beautiful legs. He lowered himself and fit comfortably between Indigo’s legs. Logan wiggled around a bit, and Indigo bit his lip to keep the groan in but was unsuccessful.
“Bean, stop all that moving,” Indigo begged, although his body was enjoying every second.
Logan chuckled and laid his head back and stopped moving. “Today was amazing. You make me feel so loved,” Logan said.
Indigo ran his hands up and down Logan’s arms. “That’s because I love you, Logan.”
Logan sighed, relaxing further in his embrace. Indigo wanted to always give this to his mate. His one and only.
Anger was his go-to emotion lately, and it was honestly getting exhausting. Logan sighed as he glared at the TV. He was nearly three months along, and he was so over it.
“Hey, Bean,” Indigo called out.
Logan grunted but turned to his mate, and his mood changed instantly at seeing the cookies in Indigo’s hand.
“I brought you a snack,” Indigo said.
“You do love me,” Logan said.
Indigo chuckled and handed the goods over to Logan. “Of course I do.”
“You know you’re the best mate in the world,” Logan said.
Indigo hummed, but he looked too happy with himself at Logan’s words.
“How are you feeling?” Indigo asked nonchalantly.
Logan knew the man needed constant reassurance, especially with what had happened with Teagan. Logan swallowed some of the cookies he was eating.
“Good. I checked on the heart rates this morning while you were with the guys, and I’m on track with everything. We don’t have a lot of research regarding male pregnancy except what I collected from Kash and Dillan, and compared to their tests and charts, I’m doing good.”
Indigo let out a sigh of relief, and the urge to kiss his mate overcame Logan. He leaned over and kissed him.
“I’m good, and the two terrors are good too,” he said against Indigo’s lips.
His mate relaxed, kissing him softly. The door to their bedroom opened up, and Gabriella waltzed in. She had on three different pairs of fairy wings, her hair tangled up in a tiara.
“Bath time, missy,” Indigo said, getting up from the bed.
By the time he came back with a clean Gabriella in her pj’s, her hair was no longer tangled curls but french braided to the side. Gabriella yawned as Indigo walked her into the room.
“Papa, Daddy. Can I sleep with you guys?” she asked so innocently.
Logan met Indigo’s gaze and shrugged. He didn’t mind.
“Okay, but you have to sleep on my side. Papa needs a lot of space to toss and turn,” Indigo said.
“Hey, you try getting comfortable. I’m a stomach sleeper, and now I’m forced to be on my back or side. Not to mention the pain that happens if I stay on one side too long,” Logan grumbled.
Besides the taste of coffee, he missed sleeping on his stomach and throughout the entire night. At the moment, he woke up every hour to two hours to switch positions. He ran his hand over his belly in annoyance.
“All right, I can do that. Can I read a bedtime story to my brothers or sisters?” Gabriella asked.
“Sure thing, sweetheart,” Logan said.
Gabriella ran to her room and grabbed a book. They piled into bed, Gabriella in between them. She was learning how to read, and so she grabbed two books, one obviously for Indigo to read and one
