room across the hall."
She pulls the robe tight around her body and watches me as I order pizza to the room across the hall. I didn’t bring a robe, so I just grab one of the white towels from the bathroom and wrap it around my waist.
“What?” She laughs. “No, you aren’t going to go out there like that are you?”
“Why not? We’ll be in the hall for all of two seconds and I sure as fuck don’t plan on letting you put any clothes on for a while, so why should I?”
She grins and I watch the heat rise in her eyes. They linger on my body before meeting my gaze. “Yeah, good idea.”
Bending over, I grab her jeans from the floor and pull the key from the pocket. We make our way out of the room and across the hall.
“Explain to me why we have two rooms again?” she says as I fumble with the key in the empty hall.
“Because I wasn’t sure what you’d pick but I wanted the night to be special no matter what. Either resetting our friendship or starting something new.” I finally get the key to register and the lock clicks as the tiny light on the faceplate moves from red to green. Grabbing the door handle, I kiss her once more before turning the knob and pushing the door open.
She steps inside, her mouth agape as she looks around. Unlike the other room, which has only one bed, this is a double bed suite with a large screen TV and a small kitchenette.
“Oh my God, Jordan, I can’t believe you did all this.” She walks to the counter, running a hand over the spread of snacks I laid out. Various chips, snack cakes, popcorn, and movie theater sized candy. Moving to the bed, I watch as she continues around the room, looking at the small stacks of old DVDs I placed on the TV stand, alongside an early PlayStation console with games we used to play as kids.
“Resident Evil!” she squeals, clutching the small plastic case to her chest. “I thought your dad boxed all your old games up in the attic. It must have taken you forever to find it.”
“No,” I say, looking away briefly. “I didn’t get it from home.” She has no idea that I’ve been avoiding going over there. Once I moved out we naturally started hanging out at my apartment so it hasn’t come up. It’s not something I really want to talk about, even with her. “It was pure luck. King had a copy.”
She shakes her head, her lips breaking into a bright smile. “I have no words for you. You’re just amazing.”
“You’re worth it,” I say, and watch as she opens her robe walking toward me. Her perky breasts peek out of the fabric. Fuck. Me. Dropping the robe, she climbs on my lap and kisses me hard, her hands roaming my hair.
"Damn," I say. "Remind me again why we didn't start this sooner?"
“Well, I guess we’ve got some catching up to do.”
“Fuck yeah, we do.” I start to laugh.
“What?” she smirks.
“We did everything together. Camping out in the yard, late nights at our fishing spot. Shit, hanging out in your bedroom.” He grins. “Your parents would have fucking hated me.”
“For sure.” She chuckles. “And you were lucky. My parents wouldn't allow my high school boyfriends up to my room, let alone let them spend the night.”
“For real?” I raise a brow. “I didn’t know that.”
“It’s true. The boys had to stay downstairs.”
“Well, this boy,” I say, biting her lip. “Has a lot of time to make up for.”
“Speaking of time, how long do we have until the pizza gets here?” she asks.
“About twenty minutes.”
“I’m sure we can find something to do with that time.”
Our bodies tangle together as I roll her on her back and climb on top of her, tossing my towel.
"I want to feel you come," I say against her lips, her legs opening for me.
"Yes," she cries as I push into her, not stopping until I'm settled all the way.
She's warm and tight. Finally being inside her feels amazing, like we were made to be this way. My strokes are hard and deep as I fuck my girl. My best friend. The girl I've loved my entire life. It can't get any better than this. Her head thrashes from side to side as her moans grow louder and she calls to me, begging me not to stop. I can tell she’s
