with Jill, the three of us were the best of friends. The judgement I expected never happen and my parents were supportive of our relationship. Their mom had helped me through some misguided shame I had over dating two men, and we spent time with like-minded couples, learning that not all love looked the same.
Lachlan and Jameson made my life perfect every day, showering me with love and encouragement. Restarting my business from scratch was difficult, but I still did the monthly account for the Patterson’s, the sweet couple from Memphis who have become like another set of grandparents to me. Taking that small job for their grocery store led me on the path to my forever, and I wanted to help them succeed. Lachlan and Jameson sent one of their crews to the stores, repairing and updating the old store.
Five months ago, I took over the accounting for Walsh Construction and, by reputation, had gained enough new clients to have my business above where it was in Atlanta. Moving to Nashville was the best decision I ever made, and not one time did I look back.
I stretched in the bed, a delicious ache in my core reminding me how my men, my fiancés, made love to me for hours last night. A sound from the doorway had me turning to see Jameson leaning against the doorway, his blond hair in disarray and a beautiful smile on his face.
“Good morning,” I remarked, and he stepped toward the bed.
He leaned over, kissing me softly with his hand cupping my cheek. “Good morning,” he replied as he sat on the edge of the bed. “Did you sleep well?”
I nodded, trying to hide a yawn behind my hand. I worked a long day yesterday, wanting nothing to keep me from my men for the weekend. “I was wondering where you were,” I replied, linking my fingers with his.
“I had an early call for a job in Chattanooga and I didn’t want to wake you,” he explained and kissed my left hand, his soft lips pressed against the engagement ring they gave me on New Year’s Eve. “Lachlan ran out to grab breakfast for us and should be home soon.”
They asked me to marry them at the stroke of midnight. It was cheesy and over the top and it was absolutely perfect. We haven’t set a date or even discussed which brother would legally be my husband. Their mother let the men decide and I agreed with her. Whichever one of them signed the paper didn’t matter when it came to our hearts. The three of us would have a commitment ceremony, and that would be the real binding of our union.
“Are you guys awake?” I heard Lachlan yell into the house as the front door closed. “Time to wake up, sleepyheads. I have donuts.”
My eyes grew wide when my stomach growled, and Jameson laughed before standing from the bed and offering me his hand. “Let’s get you fed before we get the day started.”
They had been planning our Valentine’s Day for over a week, and every time I asked what we were doing, one of them would kiss me until I forgot the question. They were good at that and I grew used to having one of them close by, even when I was working. They moved their office to the house and let Sara handle the day-to-day aspects of the company. She loved being in charge, and they loved being with me.
He helped me pull a black robe over my naked body before linking his hand with mine and escorting me into the dining room. Lachlan had the table set with pastries, coffee, orange juice, and bacon. In the middle of the table was a large vase filled with dozens of deep red roses.
I kissed Jameson on the cheek and was pulled into a hug by Lachlan. He released me and pulled my chair out before helping me get seated. My guys were gentlemen, and I was still getting used to their manners and charm. The smell of the roses was heavenly, filling the area with light floral scents that made my heart light.
“Are you two going to give me a hint on what you have planned for today?” I asked as Jameson set a cup of coffee in front of me and I reached for a warm croissant.
Slathering it with butter, I moaned around the bite and glanced to my sides, finding both men staring at me with a hunger for
