bursting into laughter as Sin tipped a dead Faefly out onto his palm and scowled at it.
With a curse, Sin leaned down and blew on the little bug like he was trying to give it mouth to mouth or something and my laughter got louder as that thought occurred to me.
Sin suddenly hurled the bug and jar away from him so that it shattered against the wall and got to his feet, scowling at me before striding away like he was going to leave.
"Wait!" I called, hurrying to catch his arm and forcing him to look back at me.
"Forget it, wild girl, I'm not built for dating. I don't know how to do it and I've never attempted to before. Just let me know when you're ready to fuck me and let’s forget all of this bullshit until then."
"Don't go," I begged as he yanked his arm out of my grip and stalked away. "I don't know how to date either!"
Sin hesitated as he looked over his shoulder at me like he didn't believe that, and I hurried to go on.
"When I was fourteen, something happened to me and I...well let's just say I didn't have any interest in dating or anything like that for a few years because of it. And by the time I felt ready to explore that part of my life, I was surrounded by other Wolves who had been taking part in orgies and gang bangs and every kind of physical exchange you can imagine for so long that I just kinda fell into the physical side of things without ever trying the dating thing."
"You seriously expect me to believe that no one has ever asked you on a date, kitten?" Sin asked disbelievingly.
"Well, Colin Bishop did once, but when I got to the restaurant his mom was there to chaperone us and she kept talking about kids and marriage and it was really fucking weird because I was eighteen and had just started to explore my own sexuality and had less than zero interest in any of that shit, so I faked a bathroom break and jumped out of a window to escape."
Sin smirked, turning to face me fully as he folded his arms and considered my story. "I had someone bring her mom to meet me too once," he said. "But it got really weird because it turned out they both had a thing for Johnny Depp and wanted me to take turns with them in his form."
"What did you do?" I asked, wrinkling my nose.
"I told the daughter to wait in the next room then showed her mom my best swashbuckling skills while doing a Jack Sparrow impression, tied her to the bed, fucked her in the ass and robbed them blind before leaving the daughter wanting. I mean, I'm all for double dipping if the situation calls for it, but why waste time when there's money to be made?"
I couldn't help but laugh and the tension in his posture relaxed as I smiled at him.
"I really do appreciate the dead bugs in the jars," I said, dipping my voice an octave as I moved towards him. "And I'm sorry I made you feel shitty about them, you know, dying."
Sin's lips quirked and he moved closer. "I'll forgive you," he said slowly. "If..."
"If?" I asked, raising a brow.
"You tell me about your ideal fantasy. Because I still haven't gotten a read on you, kitten, and it's driving me insane."
I rolled my eyes at him. "I told you, it's not about looks for me. I like a bit of everything."
"Bullshit," he growled. "There has to be something that gets you hot unlike any other. There just has to be."
I wanted to brush him off, but I realised that wasn't going to work here so I paused and forced myself to really consider his question. And after a while, I came up with an answer.
"Okay, so hear me out. When I was at Aurora Academy, it was the first time in my life that I'd been away from home for any real length of time and one of the first times where I'd had access to lots of different Fae who I wasn't actually related to - because my family is stupid big. So, I finally had all of these options of all these hot guys and girls who I could hook up with and I kinda...ran with that. I mean, that's just the way Wolves are so it wasn't exactly odd for me
