just glad that I seemed to be immune to him.
Chapter 6
Morgan
“He’s like Dom bossy, not mean bossy, but he doesn’t even realize it. Right?” Destin’s quiet words had me watching him in shock. “But he’s kind of cute when he does it, isn’t he?”
He’d have seen through a lie. Destin knew I was gay and knew I was a sub. He’d have realized I was lying right away if I’d said that Leon wasn’t cute when he was taking care of Destin and barking out orders like that.
Blushing, I nodded as Leon stared curiously at our quiet conversation. Destin had whispered low enough I knew Leon hadn’t heard, but I really didn’t want him to know I was starting to have a thing for him. “But if you tell him that, I’ll tell your Daddy you were mean to me.”
Destin gave a quiet giggle as he nodded. “Deal. Subs have to stick together. And he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it anyway.”
As we got to the couch, Destin curled up right beside me so he could keep whispering. “Pick up the remote and try to find something so it looks like we’re being good.”
I was being good.
Picking up the remote, I turned on the TV and started seeing how he’d set it up. I’d always watched everything in my room, so I wasn’t familiar with it at all. As Destin started whispering again, I found one of Leon’s streaming services and started flicking through it.
“I didn’t realize it right away, but I think he’s a Dom and doesn’t know it.” Destin gave me a look like I was supposed to respond, so I nodded. “But he hasn’t dated anyone since our freshman year. I keep thinking I should fix him up with someone, but if he really liked girls, don’t you think he’d have found one by now? I mean, he’s cute and smart.”
I kept flicking to look busy, but I had no idea what I was seeing. “Really?”
It wasn’t much, but just the barest curiosity was enough to keep Destin going. “Yeah, but did you know being asexual is a thing? I can’t tell if he’s that, though, because he really doesn’t like to talk about sex.”
I wondered why.
I fought back a giggle. “Not everyone does.”
Destin shrugged. “They should. It’s the best topic ever.”
Since I probably fell in the didn’t want to talk about it category, I shrugged. “We don’t talk about that kind of thing.”
Destin rolled his eyes. “You guys don’t talk about anything.”
Before I could figure out how to defend myself, he kept going. “But I’ll fill you in. He doesn’t care what people are…like gay or straight…and he doesn’t care about kinks and things like that, he’s just kind of stuffy.”
I was just staring there blinking at Destin. It must have been the wrong reaction because he gave me a wicked smile. “Avery only said you were a sub because he said you told him he could tell me that. I don’t know anything else, but yeah, if you’re into anything fun Leon won’t care, but he might get huffy if you leave anything like your tail lying around. He said that was just too much and highly inappropriate.”
Still watching him dumbfoundedly, I only realized I was sitting there with my mouth hanging open when I tried to swallow. “Tail?”
Destin pouted. “Aw, you’re not a pup? I was hoping you’d be one ’cause you’d be a cute pup.”
Really?
“I…um…” I was saved from having to respond when Leon’s voice came from the kitchen. “Destin. I don’t know what you’re doing over there, but anything that requires whispering for this long is probably going to get you punished. Don’t make me call Ray.”
“Shit.” Destin huffed, shooting a frown at Leon before straightening up and smiling. Responding more loudly, he sounded very cheerful. “I was just telling Morgan how grumpy you are. You wouldn’t want me to be rude out loud, would you?”
From the kitchen, we heard Leon snort. “Bullshit. Behave.”
I had a feeling Destin wasn’t going to promise that. “I’m not even telling him about all the fun things I’ve been doing with Daddy and Master Avery. I’m being very good.”
All the things?
What had they been doing?
“What did I tell you about oversharing?” Leon really did sound like a Daddy when he got that tone of voice.
Leaning closer to Destin, I whispered. “You’re sure he’s straight?”
Destin giggled but shrugged. “He always responds vaguely, but the only people he mentioned dating are women. But that might not mean anything
