don't think you'll kill me, because I think you know deep down what will happen if your creation wakes up and finds me gone for good… killed by your hand, no less… for he may seem too mindless with rage to comprehend your world, but that’s where you would be wrong. And you know where that assumption will lead you?”
“Yes, and where is that?”
“Hell in ruins.” At this, his face turned hard and he leaned forward in an intimidating way, before he said in a dangerous tone,
“Is that a threat, little Imp?”
“No, it’s a promise and a fact, for he won't just tear this place apart looking for me, he will break free from it completely and where do you think he will go next? Where do you think he will take that rage, my Lord?” I asked, making him grit his teeth as my words sunk into a place I hoped they stayed.
“A rage that will tear through each realm like a never-ending storm until it has destroyed the entirety of Hell.” He slashed an arm out in front of him and argued in vain,
“Nothing is that powerful.”
“Are you so sure, and is that self-assured ego something you are willing to risk your entire kingdom on, my Lord, for I have seen but a glimpse of it.” He scoffed at this and said,
“You know not of what you speak, Youngling.”
“All respect, King, but I am the one who knows him unlike any other, so it would be a grave mistake to doubt of which I speak.” At this, he got up in anger and shouted down at me,
“And this obliteration of my world, one you so wrongly assume to happen from one simple and meaningless death such as yours, tell me, you small being you… exactly what will happen to my world?” he said with a bite of anger, getting closer to me, for this last part was said only inches from my face, one I braved to meet head on. So, I gave it to him with a grit of my own teeth,
“He will grow bigger and stronger than you ever imagined possible… a demonic force fuelled by more fury than you could ever imagine! One that will never stop, not unless he has me. Now, answer me this, my Lord, just what do you think he would do to the one who took me from him… to the one who killed me?” I snarled this last sentence, making him growl.
“What will you do when you have nothing left to give him to cool his fury and put out the fires of that rage within him…?” I said, taking pause to get closer to him myself and becoming only a hairsbreadth away from his face, before threating him with a glimpse of his future,
“…what will you do when you having nothing left to rule, Lucifer?” I knew I had him at this, as he snarled at me with his demonic face taking hold for a few seconds before he tore himself away from me. Once distanced, I watched as his huge frame calmed enough to go back to his usual size, for in his rage his demon had started to come through, making him grow.
This was when I calmed my own tone enough to add,
“Are you really willing to forsake your entire world on a whim?” At this he looked back at me in a thoughtful manner, before he released a sigh and finally agreed,
“You're right, I cannot afford to kill you, for it is true what you say… I may need you in time, but you forget who it is you are speaking with, Imp, for I am not without my ways!” he snapped, making me flinch hoping this was him now just calling my bluff.
“There is no way, for I have nothing you can use against me… you have nothing to threaten or hold me to ransom with, for the only Being I care for is the very one you fear,” I said, and his reaction surprised me as I had expected his anger not his sadistic, evil grin.
“And you are sure of that, are you?” he taunted.
“As sure as I know my own heart, for it beats for him.” At this he smirked and said,
“And what if I told you of another fate the Gods had planned for you?” Now I had to confess this comment threw me into confusion.
“You are just trying to trick me, for there is no other fate for me but
