anyone was welcome. It also had to be pointed out that she was fooling no one with that hair out of place and smudged lipstick she was trying to clean with her thumb. Oh booyeah, Momma bear just got herself some, I thought with a supressed giggle.
“Yeah, Toots, who you been loving this time?” I asked with an eye wag at her, one she shook her head at as she started blushing.
“Wantie Pip was just telling me the story of how she met Uncle Adam.” At this, Toots raised her eyebrows at me, and said,
“That's nice, Pumpkin…” Then she paused, walking straight up to me and giving me a hug so she could whisper in my ear,
“I hope it's the watered-down version.” I smirked before winking at her.
“But of course… not a tortured moment in sight,” I said, and watched her face fall, straight after only realising my mistake when I heard the little voice squeak,
“Torture!” Amelia shouted, making me wince and answer honestly back at my best friend…
“Oops… my bad.”

LOCATION… HELL
It had to be said that, after conversing with Sophia, I had a somewhat easier punishment in mind, even if it was to be in Hell. But alas this was not to be, for everything happened pretty quickly since that day waking up in that bedroom. Quickly enough to make my head spin, for I soon found myself in front of the King once more. Although, this time I was sentenced without trial. This was pretty standard considering I had run from the bounty I’d had on my head, and in doing so painted a big guilty sign on my back.
However, what I did find surprising was that the handsome King didn't look particularly happy about issuing my sentence. In fact, if there was anything I could say to try and describe it, I would have said his gaze to be one born from disappointment. Perhaps he knew on some level this was not solely my fault. Of course, without a trial, I was left unable to defend myself and not allowed to say much other than a last statement.
Which I could think of nothing more to say than…
“My bad, Bossman.”
I think I even got a lip twitch at this, as he looked mildly amused seconds before he nodded for me to proceed with him so he could deliver me to my fate himself. But this whole experience since speaking with Sophia had me viewing my life with deeper meaning. For maybe this too was fated, just like Sophia had said. Maybe there had been a reason I unconsciously ran when Pan had ratted me out… quite literally.
Either way, the King seemed to take no pleasure in having me cast down to Hell and with an encouraging nod from Sophia, I accepted my fate and was soon faced with another judge. One far scarier and just as handsome.
Lucifer.
The Devil himself.
Now, as for the ruler of Hell, one commonly known as the Devil and King of Kings, oh boy, but he was another royal entirely. You see the title of King of Kings was not held by many, and referred only to those who commanded kings below them. It was like being on the very top of the pyramid of power. However, unlike Dominic Draven, who held the same title, the devil seemed to be amused by my presence from the start.
At the very least I was no longer dressed like a boy, for Sophia had been kind enough to give me fresh clothing. She had even kindly allowed me to bathe for the first time in weeks, as I had started smelling sour and was in desperate need of such luxury as a warm bath. After this, I had donned a delightful forest green dress that was edged with a filigree of blue, and one that she said matched my eyes.
As for Lucifer, a known God in his own right, his vessel was one that was primarily human. Although, I knew his handsome guise could be changed with a mere thought, yet I had actually been surprised when faced with such a raw masculine beauty, for I had expected to be faced with a far more demonic presence.
But as my eyes continued that long journey upwards, for he was impossibly tall, I found myself in utter awe at the sight of such a living and terrifying legend. He looked down at me with curious eyes, before those pale aqua depths started to swirl with amusement. He had an
