said waving the card, “this is the reason you and I met.”
“This is from the guy you were looking for? That Austin guy?”
“Yep, and Cam was right, he’s letting us know he’ll never be found.” Shaking his head, Dian wandered back into the kitchen, still chuckling. “Glad you aren’t here, I bet you are, you canny bastard. Well, I’m bloody glad you aren’t here either.”
Kee set the other stuff aside and pulled another onesie out of the basket, thinking about the mysterious trio who’d also found their happy ever after. I’m blessed. I’m blessed in every way.
His mate might be grumpy, but Kee never doubted he was loved. Their three amazing children were healthy, and happy, and pretty good at sticking to a routine. He had a home he adored, friends who dropped by every day, and people like Mrs. Hooper who never failed to smile when she saw the little ones. Acceptance was an amazing gift to have.
And… Kee did still have a contract with the council to fulfill… and Dian was amazing at helping him with his job. As he heard the beep of the microwave finishing, he shoved the laundry basket aside. There would always be laundry to fold but getting an undisturbed meal and the chance for a sexy snuggle with his gargoyle was something he would never take for granted with three children in the house.
“Let’s eat in bed,” he called out.
The End
So, there we have it, my first gargoyle, and my first pixie character. I do hope you loved them as much as I do. I do know that a lot of my Arrowtown readers are looking forward to stories about Brutus, Rocky and Mal, and Hal, Liam’s brother. I promise, I haven’t forgotten them, but at least now you know what happened to Roger Rabbit and we have a pretty conclusive hint as to what happened to Austin. I have to admit, I did consider having Austin turn up in Arrowtown, but can you imagine Mrs. Hooper putting up with his arrogant ways? I wouldn’t do that to her, lol. She might shut me out of Arrowtown entirely.
There is still so much more to come. I have new books planned in City Dragons, Northern States Pack, the Alpha and Omega series and the Balance series. I am in two minds as to what I will be writing next, but I do want to write the second book in the Illuminate trilogy, and either Seth or Loki’s book in the Gods series. If you have a preference for what you want to see next, then let me know.
I am also writing a story for a Patreon venture I am planning to start soon. The idea is that for people who want to read over my shoulder while I am writing a book, they will have the chance to do so. They will get chapter reads, and videos or podcasts from me week to week, but don’t worry. If you don’t want to be a part of the Patreon group you won’t miss out on the books written there – they will still be published as normal and available in all the usual outlets.
Your review would mean a lot to me. I have been having a few health issues lately, and my next few releases will probably come out slightly later than I’d anticipated. I am under doctor’s orders to slow down. It’s nothing major – I just need to pay more attention to diet and exercise if I want to finish my to-write list lol. But your reviews are a huge deal in helping me attract new readers, so if you can help with that, it’d be truly appreciated.
Remember, no tomorrow is guaranteed. Make sure the people around you know how much they are loved and hug the ones you love.
Sending you my own huge cyber hugs. I love you.
Lisa xx.
