to get out of the path of the Reaper projectile, but another Reaper was in my way, standing stock still with his mouth gaping. My fist made contact with his upper teeth, and he stumbled back, his hands shooting up to his bloody lip and dangling tooth. Blinking rapidly, he whined. Unable to clear the tears from his eyes, he didn't see me, which made it too easy to grab him and rip his memories free from his mind. The damage I did in the process left him like his short friend, and he crumpled.
I looked around for the… thing. It stood with its back to me, and even with the Reapers ganging up on it, its tall, bulky form and reddened, marble-like skin became clear. Because its body temperature was so much higher than the ambient temperature, a heat haze made the air that touched it appear wavy. Above its large, boxy head towered a portion of its curved horns, and the word 'Demon' flashed across my mind. My monster purred, and a wave of desire heated my body.
No, no, no, I thought. We were not going to hump some random Demon that could crush us with less effort than it took to blink.
Yes, the monster crooned, and I became wet from its hunger for the giant beast.
Fuck this. “Shadow!” I screamed.
Reapers began to disappear from view as they shifted their forms, and I switched on my Sight, hoping to see what direction they traveled in. Shadow's cool aura alternated between her controlled temperature and the intense freezing of her natural temperature as she scampered up my leg. I jerked my soul forward, and, seeing the Reapers zipping towards the busier section of the city, I sped to the shadowy recesses of the alleyway. I tried to will the Demon elsewhere, whispering for it to leave over and over.
Demons lived on the planet Hel, and I had no issues with reaping their souls. They couldn't affect us in our Soul forms. However, our Reaper forms stood no chance against them, and not even our abilities would help. Ice would be useless since their skin seemed to burn. I could probably Harvest one and use my Molecular Disruption to hurt their ears with loud noises. Neither would kill one, and I'd likely only make it angrier. Demons weren't exactly known for their calm demeanor. In fact, everything they did had an element of rage to it. Fighting and fucking appeared so similar that the best way to tell the difference was to wait until the end and see how many walked away. Completely hedonistic, their baser instincts ruled them.
The wails and cries cut off, and I floated to the corner of the building. I peeked out and then cocked my head at the sight of the fearsome Demon spinning in a circle. It appeared to be looking for something. More foes to kill, perhaps?
No, when it didn't find anyone, it stared towards the residential area, and oddly, its shoulders slumped. Its back was to me, so I couldn't see its face, but I watched as it dropped its head and slowly trudged off.
My brows furrowed, and I wished I could sense its emotions. It seemed sad. Did Demons feel sadness? I'd never seen them show anything except anger, rage, desire, and fury. Never sadness.
Without taking the time to think, I floated out of my hiding place and rushed past it. When I arrived at a safe distance away, I stopped and studied what I could see of it. Larger than any of the three races on Delon, its heavy frame appeared to be swaddled in more muscles than seemed necessary. I half expected the ground to shake with each step it took. No, each step he took, I realized as I found the obvious clue to his sex.
I cringed and then shuddered at the thought of that being jammed inside of anyone, even a female demon. Gah, and the monster wanted me to rub myself all over him. Is it trying to get us killed? Impaled by Demon dick is not the way I want to die.
I shoved down the urge to slap on some metal-clad shorts and yanked my gaze up. Neither male nor female demons had breasts usually, but both gained them when they had young to feed. This one had none. He appeared lighter than the marbled deep-crimson color that the Hellion Demons were, and he had a shadow covering his scalp that I'd never seen. Above
