the entrance, doubling the amount that was there earlier in the day. Mikey drove past them, and when I’d normally oblige, I was okay with entering in from a more private door. I was antsy, and wasn’t sure how to curb the feeling.
The guys jumped out ahead of me once we were around back. When I went to follow, Sebastian grabbed my arm.
“You did amazing with Raina,” he said. “Thank you. I know it wasn’t easy for you to collaborate with her.”
I shrugged. “It’s no big deal.”
Keeping his hand on my arm, he shook his head. “But it is. You two were unlike any duo I’ve ever heard, and I’m not exaggerating about that. You two have wonderful musical chemistry that we really should be taking advantage of.”
I kept my jaw closed, not wanting to comment. He was right, and I didn’t know how to process it. “I’m going to go.”
He nodded, letting go of my arm and opening his own door. I was quiet while we walked down the hall to the elevators in the main foyer.
Calvin was sitting with a crew of makeup artists in the lobby. He caught my eye, noticing my nod for him to come follow me.
“Nice show, Rock Star,” he grinned, keeping step with mine. “You and Raina-” he held up both hands-“dynamite!”
“Yeah,” I said quickly, coming to a stop once we were out of earshot. “Where is she?” I asked, hoping I sounded nonchalant and merely curious.
He smirked. “In her room.”
I glanced at him. “Are you staying with her?”
His grin became wicked. “Nope.”
I met his eyes for a moment, then nodded. “Cool. I’m going to hit it.”
“What you do during your free time is your business,” he flirted.
“I meant, I’m going to bed,” I corrected.
He itched the side of his neck. “Of course.”
I gave him one last nod, moving quickly on my feet, pacing for the elevator where the rest of my bandmates were waiting as well.
“You okay?” Gunner asked, noticing my edgy state.
I stopped and stood next to him. “Yeah, just ready for bed.”
When the elevator came, we all rode to our floor, saying goodnight, but I stood in front of my door, waiting for the rest of theirs to close behind them.
Against my better judgement, I put my room key back in my pocket and headed for the stairs, going down two flights, with one thing on my mind.
I had to see Regan.
My patience was running wild, and I pounded on her door, no resistance in my intentions.
A moment went by, and I paced back and forth a few feet, worried she’d already fallen asleep. Maybe this was for the best, I thought to myself. Because if she opens that door, you won’t be able to stop yourself from doing what you’ve told yourself over and over again that you’d never do.
Unable to help myself, I pounded on the door again, but this time, it unlatched.
She opened it slightly, her makeup free face and disheveled hair greeting me. Her skin was flawless and tanned. She was fucking beautiful, wearing a loose, white V-neck t-shirt that displayed her cleavage. Unable to help myself, I glanced down at the perfect curvature.
“Jet? Are you okay?”
I brought my gaze back upward, her gray eyes searching mine. They were soft with question at first, but then a need filled them, and I took it as a green light.
My hand reached for her jaw, and I kissed her, long and hard, my other hand finding her hip and wrapping around to her lower back. She leaned into me, her hands grabbing hold of my biceps, then pulled me backward into her room, our mouths never detaching.
I released her long enough to turn and find the door handle, closing it behind us, a mistake I didn’t want to happen again. I didn’t have clear intentions for the evening, but I knew I needed to be close to her, connect on a level like we had with our voices on stage.
She tugged on my sweat dampened shirt, ripping it over my head, then wrapped her arms around my neck, pulling me in to kiss her again, maneuvering around my lip piercing.
She didn’t care that I was sweaty from the show, she was hungry for me, just as I was for her. Her mouth went wild, her tongue licking the seam of my lips, demanding I open up for her.
I did in an instant, my own ferocity overpowering any hesitations I had looming over my head.
Reaching around, I grabbed a
