other's faces as they sing the crude lyrics to the song. Both of them sport smiles that could make any girl flustered. It's hot as hell, and something I could watch all night long.
Savannah loops her arm with my own. "I always knew the guy you’d end up with would be hot, but damn.”
I chuckle. "He’s all right."
MY FEET, AND MY stomach for that matter, are killing me from dance. Maybe getting my belly button pierced wasn't exactly the best idea while still having to bend in ways that stretch every part of my torso.
I walk in the house to find Cade sitting in the living room, with my Dad. Last time I checked, Cade had meetings today with some sponsors to talk details, so the fact that he's even home right now instantly has me on high alert.
"Lennon," my dad says. "Get in here."
My brows furrow as I drop my dance bag on the stairs and go to join them. "Is everything okay?"
My dad looks like he's ready to strangle someone with his bare hands. He pulls a magazine out of his back pocket and slams it down onto the coffee table. It's not one I'd ever expect him to read, but the picture on the cover has me ready to vomit on the spot. Front and center is Cade and me, with a trophy raised in the air and our lips pressed firmly together with happy smiles on our faces.
"One of you, explain. Now."

CADE
Ken paces back and forth in front of us while neither Lennon or I say a word. What could we say? That nothing happened? It's right there, for the whole world to see. Even my mom makes sure to stay far away from this room.
This isn't how today was supposed to go. I was supposed to spend the afternoon talking to sponsors and tonight taking Lennon out to dinner to talk to her about what we plan on doing when she leaves for New York in a couple weeks.
Instead, my mom rescheduled my meetings and hid my car keys. How fucking nice of her. Like she hasn't done enough to ruin my life already.
I glance over at Lennon. Her face is pale, paler than usual, and she looks like she's about to cry. I know we've said that when the time comes where someone finds out about us, we'd deal with it together. But now that it's actually here, I can't let her go through this.
"Sir," I force myself to be respectful. "This is my doing. Lennon said no at first, but I was persistent. I'm sorry."
Lennon's head whips my way. "What are you doing?"
Ken glares at me, mentally shooting daggers. "You seduced my daughter?"
"I wouldn't say I seduced her, but I started having feelings for her and I acted on them."
He scoffs. "This is an outrage. You two are brother and sister!"
Lennon cringes and I can't help but laugh.
"Not really," I reply. "You and my mother aren't married. Technically, Lennon and I aren't related at all."
Reaching into his pocket, he takes out his phone and tosses it to me. A picture of them celebrating with a ring on my mom's finger stares back at me, and now it's my turn to feel sick.
"Y-you're engaged?" Lennon whispers.
"We were going to share the news tonight, until I went to get coffee this morning and saw your PDA all over the front cover of a goddamn magazine." He focuses on his daughter. "How could you be so naive? What am I supposed to tell people when it gets out that Lennon Bradwell had an affair with her stepbrother?"
She drops her head again, and I instantly hate the way she cowers to him. I try to pull the attention off her and back to me.
"Don't yell at her."
His eyes lock on me. "Don't you dare try and tell me what to do."
Okay, enough of this shit. "Last time I checked, Lennon is eighteen years old and can do whatever the hell she pleases."
"Yeah?" He crosses his arms over his chest and stands tall. "Well not in my house she can't."
Fuck. "What? You're just going to kick her out?"
He chuckles humorlessly. "No. That would create even more of a scandal. You, on the other hand, are no longer welcome in my house."
"Dad, no!" Lennon shrieks but he isn't listening.
"Pack your shit, Cade," he tells me. "I want you gone within the hour."
"Dad!"
He pays her no mind as he finalizes his decision by walking out the door. As I get
