to hide his smile. I don't know what's going on between those two, but I don't fucking like it. Kellan Spencer and his cheating ways aren’t even a challenge. Colby Hendrix, however, might be.
WE ALL SIT AROUND the fire pit, drinking and having a good time. Jayden and Charleigh are making out on one of the lounge chairs. Bryce is getting along with Tanner and Oakley. Even Kellan and I have managed to not get into each other's faces tonight.
“Let's play a game,” Skye suggests.
Lennon and Tessa share a look, silently communicating before Tessa speaks. “If you suggest spin the bottle again so you can try to kiss my boyfriend, I'm going to punch you in the tit.”
She sighs heavily. “That was one time.”
Clearly this isn't her first rodeo, being a cheater. It's like one of her requirements for a guy is him having a significant other. I almost want to call her out for being such a bitch, but there's a time and place for everything, and this isn't it.
I glance down at my phone and the picture I managed to capture this morning. Kellan thought he was the only one awake when he snuck across the house and into Skye's room at three in the morning. Little did he know my insomnia just so happened to kick in at the right time.
Telling Lennon about it while we're here wouldn't do much good for anyone. It would ruin her vacation and give Kellan a chance to beg for forgiveness, being as they're stuck in a house together for another week. However, the second we get home, I'm going to figure out how to tell her. He doesn't get to keep doing this shit. Not if I have anything to say about it.
“What about truth or dare?” Lennon asks.
Tessa hums. “Works for me.”
Bryce pulls Jayden off of Charleigh and we start the game. It starts off easy, with dares of jumping into the pool with our clothes on, win for me being always in board shorts, and silly questions for truths. When it gets to me, I decide to spice it up a little.
“Kellan, truth or dare?”
Lennon glares at me, but Kellan wraps an arm around her and doesn't shy away. “Dare.”
The corner of my mouth raises. “I dare you to go put on one of Lennon's bikinis and wear it for the rest of the night.”
He glares at me, but if I know anything about Kellan, it's that he won't shy away from a dare. His pride is too big for that. Instead, he'll do it and then come after me for it later. Sure enough, he gets up and heads inside.
“You're a dick, you know that?” Lennon sneers.
I take a sip of my beer and smile. “Baby, I'm just getting started.”
When Kellan gets back, he's wearing Lennon's hot pink bikini. Everyone laughs at his expense as he sits back down next to his girlfriend. Not wanting to talk about it, he focuses his attention on Charleigh.
“Char. Truth or dare?”
She puckers her lips for a second. “Truth.”
“What’s your biggest regret?”
“That’s easy. Losing my virginity to Jace London.” Charleigh turns to Lennon. “Lenny, truth or dare?”
Lennon grumbles a quiet fuck. “Truth.”
“If you weren't with Kellan and needed to pick a guy here to hook up with, who would it be?”
Kellan tenses next to her, and I'm starting to think Charleigh isn't so bad. I smile at the question and watch as Lennon's gaze meets mine, then she quickly takes it away. Colby looks just as anxious for her answer as I do. Unfortunately, her best friend comes to her rescue.
Tessa nudges Lennon and gives her a soft smile, and I already know what she's going to say.
“Asher,” Lennon announces, and Skye spits out her drink.
“Oh sure, so I can't make a couple comments, but Lennon can say she'd fuck your boyfriend and it's fine?”
Tessa sends Skye a fake smile. “I like Lennon.”
Skye immediately looks offended. “And you don't like me?”
Tessa just shrugs.
I make a mental note to add Tessa to the list of people who aren't so bad. Meanwhile, my mind goes to how the second the question came out of Charleigh's mouth, the first person Lennon looked at was me. I know the morning of our little rendezvous in the kitchen ended badly, but it couldn't have been completely faked. She felt something. It was written all over her face.
Looking up from my lap, I find her gaze back on me. I can even see a hint of an
