as I circle faster, climaxing intensely.
My muffled moans and cries are still loud.
"Look at the documents. Call me when you know more."
He releases his hand from my mouth, ends the call, then tosses his phone on the floor.
French rolls out of his mouth then I become his meal as he ferociously eats me out while continuing to massage my G-spot.
"Malin... Malin... Malin!" I scream, exploding with pleasure again, yanking on his hair.
He groans, rubbing his hands on my thighs, then up my waist, and twisting my nipples. His lips travel up my shaking body. "Ma belle, you obey me so well."
I wrap my arms around him, sticking my tongue in his mouth, tasting my orgasms, and taking everything I can.
"Don't make me go to Omoa," I whisper.
He shuts his eyes.
"Please. I need to be with you."
His eyes are dark gray when he opens them. "We will be together. I will finish this, and we will never have to be apart again."
A pain shoots through my heart. Any amount of time away from him seems cruel. "I could help you. I did good today, didn't I?"
He strokes the side of my head. "Ma belle, you were amazing. But it is not a life for you. We need to stop arguing about this. I will not change my mind."
"Please. I—"
Headlights shine into the truck.
"Put your clothes and seat belt on, ma belle," Malin growls then sits up and turns on the truck.
I obey. My heart pumps fast. "Who is it?"
"I'm not sure."
He pulls out and drives forward, spraying the windshield to remove the fog.
I turn the air on full blast to stop it from creeping back up then turn to look out the back window. The headlights glare in my eyes. "It's too dark to see anything."
The road is narrow. Trees are dense on both sides. Malin increases his speed.
The driver beeps his horn twice then three times fast then twice again.
Malin groans.
"What?"
"It's Kalim."
"How do you know?"
The same beeps ring in the air, and lights flash in the same pattern.
"What are we going to do?"
Malin slows down and pulls over to the side.
"Malin, what are you doing?" I cry out.
"Stay calm." He grabs his gun from his bag.
"Malin!"
"Ma belle, I said, stay calm."
I take a deep breath. "Okay. I'm sorry."
He strokes my cheek. "No sorries. Just don't move or say anything."
The other vehicle parks behind us. The bright lights stay on, shining into the truck.
There's a knock on the window, and a flashlight blinds us.
"Get your light down, Kalim, or I'll shoot you now," Malin barks and points his gun at the window.
The light goes down. "Malin, open up," a deep voice shouts.
Malin rolls the window down but keeps his gun up. It's hard to see the man, since it's so dark, but his hair is shaved. His eyes are as dark as night. He wears a camouflage T-shirt that hugs his body the same way it does on every rescue guy on Malin's team.
"Are you going to shoot me?" Kalim asks.
"How did you find me?"
He doesn't answer. "What are you doing, Malin?"
"Kalim, leave Belize. Go back to headquarters and take your team with you."
"Malin, I need to know what you're doing. And put your fucking gun down now, or I'm going to point mine at your head."
Malin releases a breath and lowers his gun. "I need you to leave, Kalim."
"I've been given orders to bring you back to headquarters. What the hell are you thinking?"
Malin clenches his jaw. "You of all people don't get to ask questions like that."
Kalim's eyes turn to slits. He glances at me then says to Malin, "Talk to me outside."
"Sorry, buddy, but she stays with me."
"You don't trust me now?"
I take small breaths, trying to control the increase in my heartbeat.
"Whose side are you on?" Malin asks.
"Since when are we against Interpol?" Kalim growls.
"Kalim, walk away. You never saw me."
"Malin—"
"Twenty-seven years. Bootcamp. Iraq. Afghanistan. Chad. You know me better than Louis. We're all your brothers." He slowly repeats, "Walk away."
"Tell me what is going on."
"I can't right now. I will someday. I promise. But right now, I can't, and you need to trust in our past."
The two men don't flinch, assessing each other, and a wild animal howls in the distance.
"You get twenty-four hours to do whatever it is you need to do. The next time I track you, I'm taking you and Emilia to headquarters."
"Don't come after me again."
"I will. I won't let you or any of the others lose everything. I came too close
