color came to him. Blue...like LuAnn's eyes.

Excitement was an understatement for her feelings. She'd had a great day today. The sample flowers she'd ordered for Mrs. Smythe had been delivered and she mocked up an arrangement in the speckled coffee pot she'd found at a local craft store on her lunch hour. Lily had been eager to see the flowers placed together and come to life. LuAnn was so thrilled that she took a picture of the mini arrangement and sent it to the vendor to show her contact there, Jasmine, what she planned on doing. Jasmine immediately sent a text back telling her how magnificent it was. Just that one compliment had her day soaring into the top compliment category of her best days.
It was her first farmers market and as she was unpacking her enthusiasm increased. The excitement of her fellow vendors chatting, setting up their booths and the warm, beautiful weather made this day damned near perfect. It would be perfection if she were able to see Chase tonight. But, she wasn't sure what time she'd be finished, and she knew he was working his tail off getting ready for the ride this weekend. Feeling bad about sticking him in the middle between her and the Rolling Thunder crew, she'd decided it was likely best if she didn't see him during this time. She didn't want him to feel pushed or pulled in either direction. At least not by her doing. Hadn't she already learned that lesson the hard way.
"Hi, are you open for business yet?"
She turned to see a young woman with a small child standing at her table looking over the flowers she'd brought with her. She had both premade bouquets of flowers, and individual flowers so she could customize one if the customer wanted one.
"Sure, how can I help you?"
"I'd like that bouquet right there." She said pointing and LuAnn promptly pulled it from the water bin she had it sitting in and wrapped the stems in plastic before taking the woman's money. This began a non-stop evening of selling, creating, and cashing out customers, that blew by quickly. Joseph was there replenishing the flowers from the store truck as she sold them, but she admitted to herself, they could have used another employee to take the money. She'd worked her tail off. The first time she had to look at her phone to check the time was three hours later. Only an hour to go at the market, but she'd have to get the unsold flowers back to the greenhouse and take the money to the safe. So, she still had easily a couple hours to go.
"Hi there. Are those Calla Lilies?"
Tucking her phone in her pocket as her embarrassment flushed up her neck and cheeks, she turned to see two beautiful young women standing at her booth pointing to some of the sample flowers she'd gotten from her vendor along with Mrs. Smythe's.
"Oh, they are. They are called Aqua Blue Purple Picasso Calla Lilies. They are quite rare, but I have a vendor who knows my penchant for the unusual."
The dark-haired woman smiled as she stared at the gorgeous lilies Joseph had just unloaded from the truck.
"Those are seriously the most gorgeous flowers I've ever seen."
LuAnn smiled, "Would you like me to pull them together with some greens and baby's breath?"
The blond woman giggled. "Absolutely. Can you make two bouquets with them?"
Smiling, LuAnn responded, "You bet I can."
She turned to pull the lilies from the water container they sat in, but her eyes landed on Chase. There he stood a couple of booths down from her. First her eyes drank him in. He looked especially sexy tonight. His long, tall frame was encased in nice fitting jeans, his biker boots and a dark t-shirt he had tucked into those jeans which showed off his lean, muscular, physique so damned well. Then he laughed and her eyes landed on the woman chatting with him. It was none other than Olivia. He was here with Olivia. Of course, she looked gorgeous. Her long, blond hair hung over her shoulders and her tight jeans showed how toned and in shape she was. The t-shirt she wore hugged her curves and left very little to the imagination. Her cleavage was on display much like LuAnn used to dress in her former life. Chase had been attracted to her then. So, nothing had really changed as far as he was concerned. He still liked the tight clothes
