taken the backroads all along the bay and marveled at the outrageously expensive homes along the water. The sun was beginning to set and the whole day outside with him had been fantastic. Arriving back at his apartment, he offered her a beer, then another. They'd sat on his tiny deck off the living room and watched the neighbors argue about something then they'd gone inside. As soon as the door was closed, he grabbed her from behind and pulled her tightly to his body. His strong arms wrapped around her waist and his cock thickened against her backside. It didn’t take long after that and they were naked and stumbling to his bedroom. She remembered it so well. She'd thought about it so many times at night while she was in prison. The second he entered her; her body came alive. They fit together so well, and he loved lavishing attention on her breasts. He’d pumped into her a few times then stop to pull a nipple into his mouth, pump a few more times then give the other nipple equal attention. The sensations drove her wild along with the weight of his body on hers. Two days later, she was on the run hiding from the cops and the following day she was arrested. She'd been so incredibly foolish. Her mind wasn't on Dog when Chase was on her, why hadn't that thought struck her until now? She'd been blinded by what she’d thought she wanted; she'd been so certain of her womanly feelings, she ended up acting like a child. Now she was an ex-con.
Chase backed them out of Linda's driveway, started his bike, then off they went. He turned left at the stop sign at the end of the street and she immediately knew where they were going. Just like in years past, they'd drive along the edge of town, along the farms and enjoy life outside of the city, not that Green Bay was all that big, but the farms were so pretty. They were alive with plants and animals and machinery doing any number of things.
Wrapping her arms tighter around his waist and resting her chin on his right shoulder she looked ahead to the little brick church on the edge of the county. She'd always adored it and sometimes he'd pull in. They’d sit and admire the ancient stonework and chat.
The bike slowed and a smile formed on her lips as he down shifted twice before applying the brakes, then turned right into the church parking lot. Riding to the back of the lot, he turned the bike, so it was facing the road, then shut it off, dropped the kickstand and waited for her to get off.
Reluctantly she removed her arms from around his waist and dismounted. Walking a few steps toward the old church she marveled at the fact that everything looked exactly the same outside.
"It's beautiful. I thought of this place so many times over the past few years."
"It is. I've become a member of it since you've been gone. I like the Pastor, Greg. He’s not much older than I am." He moved closer to her and she looked up into his eyes, a stunning smile on his face. "And, he rides."
"No way!"
His smile grew and it was mesmerizing. How had she never admired this about him before? "Yep. After church on Sundays, we usually go for a little ride and have lunch. He's brought me so much peace."
Tears sprung to her eyes at Chase needing to find peace. Had she hurt him so bad? And again, how could she never have known this? She'd been such a selfish person; she’d never seen anyone else's pain but her own. Wrapping her right arm around his waist, she squeezed him, and relief surrounded her when he wrapped his left arm around her shoulders.
"I'm sorry you needed to find peace, but I'm grateful Greg was here for you."
Chase inhaled deeply and slowly let his breath leave his body.
"I honestly didn't know I needed to find peace, either, LuAnn. But, I was out of sorts when you went to prison. My thoughts and feelings were all over the place--- anger, jealously, revenge, even a bit of hatred. I started to act recklessly again. Driving too fast, snapping at my friends for no reason. Then, just like it was meant to be, Greg brought his bike into Rolling Thunder and I happened to be working. He was looking for a longer kickstand for
