enough. Tight pussy will be worth it,” he says with a grin.
I blackout. Panic takes over. After all this time, the torture, the crumbling of my soul—piece by fucking piece—he’s going to rape me now. I’ve lost everything in this place, my mind, my hope. Being tortured stripped me of my humanity.
Now, this. No.
He shoves his filthy hand into my too big pants. I kick out and plant my knee right in his balls. He folds and I bolt. Tearing the door open, I take off for the direction Natasha is in.
“Bitch.” The word is snarled before a handful of my hair is grabbed and I’m dragged backward.
He covers my mouth as I start to kick and scream. However, he doesn’t drag me back into that room. I cover my breasts as the night air hits me.
Suddenly, I’m airborne. I yelp as my body sails through the air. When I land, I gasp breathlessly. My entire body feels as if I’m being boiled from the inside out.
“Get away from her. No one touch her,” the asshole that tosses me in here orders.
I ball into myself. There’s so much pain, I might die before we get to wherever they plan to take us. They bark orders around me and there’s a bunch of activity before the door to the back of the truck slams down shut.
I think it’s then I lose the last of my sanity. The darkness, the pain, the loss of the only friends I know I have, knowing I failed them—it’s all too much. My mind starts to shatter.
As it splits, the sight of cold blue eyes appears in my vision. I can’t help but wonder if he was there to buy us. Is he the one that will take Torque and Natasha to some unknown place?
I shudder.
I wonder if he knows he sent me to my death?

“Everyone, look alive, the target is in sight,” Nathan Briggs says.
The command comes through my ear com, causing me to settle in behind the tree I’m using for cover. I focus on the scope that brings the truck into view.
“Toby, Wyatt, we move on your signal,” Nate says.
“Got it,” Wyatt replies. We’re all in our positions ready to go. “Let’s get this over with and get back home. Bro, we go on three,” he says, talking to Toby. “One, two, three.”
In sync, they take out the tires of the truck with the cargo we’ve come for. The vehicle comes to a stop, looking as if it might turn over at first. From there, I move in fast.
The back door to the truck opens and two guys jump out. I take out the first, then the second without a single thought. Screams come from inside as I run up to the opening.
“Clear,” I call out as I secure the back of the truck and climb in.
The first thing to grab my attention is a body curled up on the floor. I quickly scan the young faces around me. Anger ignites in my blood, not for the first time in the last two weeks—or since we agreed to take this on if I’m honest.
They are all huddled together expect for a boy that’s frozen a few paces from the others. I lock eyes with him, if he’s sixteen I’d be surprised. I think of my little brothers and what I’d do if anyone ever tried to harm them.
He breaks eye contact to look down toward the floor at the body I noticed when I first stepped in. Following his gaze, I find that the fragile looking figure is a girl. Her clothes are too big and she’s too still.
My heart aches as I come to the biting realization that we might have been too late for one of them. I glance around at all the terrified faces; they’re all looking down at her too.
“We’re here to help,” I say.
“Help her, they wouldn’t let us go near her. They tossed her in here like garbage. Please, help her,” the young boy says.
“Torque?” It’s a whisper, but I vaguely hear the girl on the floor murmur the word. Her voice has a rasp to it that sends a chill down my spine.
I frown and ignore it. Moving closer, I squat beside her as Noah and Nate climb into the cargo hold of the vehicle. Reaching out to check her pulse, I scan her figure quickly.
That is my first mistake. She starts to scream and flail about. She’s clearly hysterical. She catches me in my
