you having boobs?”
“No,” Adam said, almost grudgingly. He could hardly argue with the evidence he felt.
“Then why does it matter?”
“Because I’m not a girl.”
“No, you’re not. These,” Matt said, squeezing gently, “do not determine whether you are a guy or a girl. Hell, this—” He slid one hand down to cup Adam’s cock through his shorts. “—doesn’t decide it.” Matt tapped a finger at Adam’s temple. “This is what decides it. Are you, in your brain, a guy or a girl? Or both? Or neither?”
Adam frowned, annoyed because Matt was right. “A guy.”
“A guy. I love you, Adam. I love your dick. I love your body. And I even love your boobs.”
Adam didn’t growl at that, but he wanted to, until Matt rocked into him again. He reminded himself he couldn’t argue when Matt was obviously turned on by what he saw. And after holding said body parts for so long and not going soft… Matt was quite clearly happy about it.
“I would have thought by now that after not being able to keep my hands off you for the last six months, you’d know what I think about your pregnant body.”
“I didn’t always have boobs,” Adam reminded him.
“I’m still hard, aren’t I?”
“Asshole,” Adam said, since he had no other argument, making Matt laugh.
“I don’t deny it. Now… tell me I can have you because I’m so fucking turned on right now.”
Adam glanced at the spot on the dresser where his phone sat with the timer on the lock screen. “You have fifteen minutes before dinner is done.”
“Fuck yes.” Matt spun Adam around and caught his lips in a hard kiss. “I’d be embarrassed that I don’t need that much time, but it’s all your fault.”
That made Adam chuckle. “I can accept that blame.”
Three months later
The baby popped off Adam’s nipple and promptly passed out with that milk-drunk look babies got after feeding. Adam chuckled and used the receiving blanket over his shoulder to wipe the bit of milk dribbling off the corner of Ethan’s mouth. Then he kissed his son softly on the forehead, before letting his mom take the baby.
After wiggling around to pull up the “omega tank”—a.k.a. sports bra—to cover himself, Adam yanked at his shirt, then looked up when his clothes were finally in place. He smiled at his mom cradling the baby.
“So, have you decided what you’re going to do?” she asked as she resettled Ethan up onto her shoulder and started patting his back.
Adam blinked. “Do?”
His mom nodded. “Yeah. Your first heat since Ethan is coming soon, isn’t it?”
Adam wrinkled his nose. “Yeah, it is.” He frowned. “I can’t breastfeed while I take the Sepel, though, can I?”
“No.” She shook her head. “It would get into the breastmilk and there are all sorts of ways it could hurt him. You know…” She gave Adam a look he wasn’t sure he liked.
“What?”
“Have you considered just having your kids close together and getting it over with?”
Adam stared at his mom. “Uh…” He hadn’t, actually. Not that he necessarily minded having another kid—in fact, he and Matt wanted two more—but he hadn’t considered having them one right after the other. “That… no?”
She laughed. “Obviously.” Ethan let out a tiny burp, so she took him down and cradled him again. “There are good reasons for doing it early. It’s easier when you’re younger, for one thing. And I think it’s probably better if your kids are close in age. I know I was much closer to my sister than my brother.”
He let it turn over in his head. He had no gauge on that, being an only child. Matt wouldn’t either. But he could always talk to Ethan and Evan—who had five other siblings—and Parker, who had two. They’d know.
Did he want to go through pregnancy again so soon? He glanced down at his body. He’d never gained much weight with the baby—the vast majority of it had been just the baby. And boobs. But very little else. And if he was being fair, it was true the younger he was, the more likely he’d get over the physical effects of having babies once he was done.
His mom’s phone went off, dragging him out of his musings. She pulled it out of her pocket and glanced down at the screen, then sighed. “Well, I have to go. My shift’s starting soon. Give it thought. If you want to go through your heat, your dad and I will take Ethan. In fact,” she said, chuckling, “we might have to
