me what’s going on?” he asked.
I looked behind us, and then all around to make sure Ty hadn’t followed me. “It’s a sordid story. And embarrassing. This jerk in my English class, I guess he’s some kind of football star, told me that if I didn’t go on a date with him, that he’d tell the university that I worked at Club V.”
Chase stopped in his tracks. “He said what?”
My lower lip began to tremble, dammit. I never cried, and if I did, it was certainly not in front of anybody else. “He’s blackmailing me. He said all I needed to do was go to the game with him tonight. That was the deal. But when we were sitting down there on the floor, he told me this wasn’t the end of it.”
I left out the part about writing his paper. The date was bad enough.
Chase opened the passenger door of his Jeep and helped me in, then hustled around to the driver’s side.
“I can’t… I don’t know what to do…” I said, burying my face in my hands and letting the sobs take over.
“Oh, Senna. I’m so sorry,” he said, rubbing my back.
“I…I’m sorry Chase. I d-didn’t mean to d-dump this on you.”
He started the car. “Where do you live? I’m taking you home.”
By the time we arrived in front of my apartment building, I’d pretty much composed myself, although there was no doubt my face was a red, raw mess.
But I didn’t care because I knew Chase didn’t care.
“Do you want to come in?” I asked in a small voice, surprising us both.
I knew it probably wasn’t the right thing to do, but I wanted some company. Actually, I wanted Chase’s company. He made me feel safe, something I was desperate for after being with the horrible Ty—a monster who had no qualms about hurting me, and who relished in the knowledge that he could get away with it.
He turned the car off. “Yeah. Yeah, I do want to come in.”
I took his hand and led him to my little studio apartment, which I’d decorated with great care. It was small, but it was the first place I’d ever lived alone, and I was in love with it.
“Wow. Cozy,” he said, looking around appreciatively.
“I’m sorry it’s not bigger. But it’s home.”
“Are you fucking kidding me? You know what my digs were like when I was in the Peace Corps? Let’s just say I would have killed for a place like this back then. It’s pure luxury.”
He knew what to say to make me feel better. Not a lot of people had that skill.
I took him by the hand, leading him to my bed. I slowly lifted my T-shirt over my head and pushed my jeans to the floor. As I stood there in my mismatched black bra and pink panties, he smiled at me, his arms hanging at his sides. He wanted to see what I’d do next.
So I lifted his shirt off, and opened his blue jeans. He took hold of my shoulders, laying me back on the bed, where he slid between my legs with only my panties and his boxers separating our sexes.
“You know how long I’ve dreamed about doing this with you, Senna?”
I just smiled at him. He was amazing.
He pushed aside the crotch of my panties and lowered himself until I could feel his warm breath on my pussy. Shivers shot up my spine, and I could swear the room moved around us.
His tongue flicked me, and I gasped loudly. Groaning, he did it again, this time driving between my swollen lips.
“Oh fuck, that feels good,” I murmured.
Cripes, he’d only just gotten started, and I was already a puddle of mush.
Running his tongue through my slit from top to bottom, he paused at my opening and then again on my clit. He pulled it into his mouth with a light suction.
That was all I needed. I writhed under his expert touch, pushing myself deeper into his mouth. Gripping the bed sheets for purchase, I threw my head back and forth on my pillow, gasping for air, my breathing raspy and deep.
“Oh god, yeah. I’m coming. I’m coming,” I whispered as an orgasm slammed into me, leaving me convulsing from Chase’s sexy ministrations.
Holy. Shit.
I finally opened my eyes to find him just looking at me.
“Are you ready for more?” he asked.
I laughed lightly. “I don’t know. Are you?”
