baby.
Brick is about halfway to me when his face turns full of mischief. He bends his knees slightly and smirks that smirk that would make the devil jealous.
“I think now is a good time to start,” he says evilly as he starts running.
With a squeal, I jump and run for the door.
“I don’t think so, baby. Time to have some fun.”
I laugh as he lifts me and tosses me over his left shoulder before darting towards our room.
Looks like we’re starting now.
Chapter Thirty-Two
Brick
(2 months later)
I sit in my front yard and watch Jessa as she tries to talk Bear into installing a pool behind the clubhouse.
“Why can’t you just have one installed in your and Brick’s yard?” he asks her.
Jessa huffs out a breath of impatience.
“Because, Bear, our yard doesn’t have a flat space big enough for a pool. And besides, I sit on the porch all the time and can watch the goings-on at the club. No one ever ventures into the back yard.”
“You have a massive amount of land, Jessa,” Bear says, amusement clear in his voice. “Brick is perfectly capable of digging a spot out for a pool.”
“Just tell him the truth, baby,” I laugh.
Jessa sighs and flops down on the porch steps, petting Beast.
“I want to have a barn built so that we can have horses,” she finally admits. “I already have my very own horse over at Sherry and Jim’s place, but I would love to have her here.”
Bear is close to breaking. It won’t take much more convincing.
I wasn’t happy with the pool idea at first. I found out that everyone saw my woman completely naked the day I was shot. I know they respected her enough not to openly stare, but I know they all got a good view of her body that night. I want to punch each of their fucking eyes out.
But I quickly got over it. Sort of.
“You know, honey,” Rose says. “If we had a pool here, I would be here every day during the summer. Swimming sounds like a ton of fun. Wouldn’t you like it if you could always keep your eyes on Daisy and me?”
I throw my head back and laugh. Rose is one smart woman. She knows that her husband would glue her to his side if he could. There’s no way he can resist the temptation of seeing his woman every single moment of the day.
I know I’m real fucking happy that the clubhouse is only a three-minute walk from my house. I could make it here in thirty seconds if I needed to.
“I’ll even be your pool boy,” Jessa says, smiling. “I’ll clean it every day and even pay for the water and equipment.”
Bear watches Rose as she plays with Daisy on my porch swing. Then he turns to face Jessa.
“You’ll do no such thing,” he says, causing Jessa to frown. “I’ll just take it out of Brick’s wages.”
I laugh again and nod my thanks to my Prez. Watching the joy on my woman’s face as she jumps up and down before spinning around is a beautiful feeling.
“There will be rules,” he adds. “Only patched members and family will be allowed in the pool. And you better be a good pool boy, or I’ll be dunking you in the water come wintertime.”
Jessa laughs and gives Bear a quick hug.
“You’re not all that scary,” she teases before running away and into my arms.
“Oh, you expect me to save you from the big bad Bear, huh?” I tease.
“Please, my love,” she begs. “He’s gonna tickle me again. Fight him for me.”
Bear laughs, and I squeeze Jessa against my body.
“Always, baby,” I promise. “I’ll always fight for you.”
Epilogue
Ink
I roll my eyes as I watch Bear, Chains, Hawk, Trigger, and Brick with their partners. They’re all laughing and flirting, and it’s so fucking domestic I could puke.
I will never understand why men let their dicks get tied down. Being with the same person every single day for the rest of my life does not sound like my kind of fun. I get bored way too quickly.
Women are like candy. Each pussy is flavored just slightly different. Each pussy feels slightly different. Each mouth sucks slightly different. Why in the hell would someone give all of that up?
Not to mention the little monsters. We’ve turned into a domesticated biker club that serves as a daycare. I fucking hate it.
Okay, maybe hate is the wrong word, but I honestly can’t understand it.
That being said, I really do love everyone
