being mad at Heather for this. She feels really bad.”
“She’ll feel even worse after she cleans all the mats. Then we’ll be even.”
“I’m totally making you steak for this.”
“Hopefully using Aleron’s credit card.”
Bailey grinned. “Not yours? I mean, you did have one delivered already.”
Logan scowled. “My business manager apparently did that. I’ll yell at them later.”
“You have a business manager? How did I not know? Can they come to dinner?”
“They prefer to remain anonymous.”
Bailey frowned. “What?”
“It’s a thing. Don’t ask questions I can’t answer. Now come ’ere and let me put you in a choke hold, and then you can make me a coffee cake.”
“What? I’m not making you a coffee cake.”
“Why?” Logan grabbed Bailey from behind and wrapped his arm around Bailey’s neck.
Bailey ducked and spun, laughing his way out of Logan’s grip. “Do you deserve a coffee cake?”
Logan grinned and prowled forward.
Bailey took a nervous step back. “Logan?”
“Want me to show you how much I deserve one?”
Bailey laughed and spun on his heel. He took off running in between the faux panels that still stood at the back of the warehouse.
“Are they always like that?”
Logan recognized the voice as Randy’s partner but didn’t bother waiting on his team’s reply. Instead, he focused his attention on herding Bailey into a nice hidden corner of the warehouse where he could kiss Bailey senseless and convince him Logan did indeed deserve baked goods.

Bailey
“Are you sure about this?”
Bailey sat at the table in the break room with a shiny new laptop in front of him. He stared over at Aleron with a scowl, but his attention was drawn back to the webpage full of very expensive kitchen equipment.
“Positive.”
“But—”
“Bailey, I know this means nothing to you, but my family is so loaded there is literally nothing you could buy that will even raise an eyebrow. I spend more on clothes in a week than you will spend outfitting this entire kitchen.”
Bailey glanced at the very well-fitting black shirt Aleron wore. “It looks like a regular T-shirt. How expensive can it be?”
“Yeah, but it’s softer than a cloud.”
Bailey reached out and touched Aleron’s chest, only to hear a familiar growl from the door. “Oh, it is soft. I’m going to need one of those. It’ll help me cook better.”
Aleron groaned. “You’ve figured me out already, huh? I’ll do anything for your cooking. I’ll have a shirt here tomorrow.”
Bailey grinned and turned his attention back to the website he had open. Aleron had insisted they buy only quality items, and as much as Bailey wanted to argue, he also really wanted to know what it felt like to spend a lot of money without worrying about it. Just once. Besides, stores with fancy monograms weren’t exactly in his budget.
Logan pushed Aleron out of the way and sat down beside Bailey. “What is he up to now?”
“Making me spend more of his money. It’s fun.”
Logan rolled his eyes. “I’ve never known anyone who likes to spend money more than that man.”
“I don’t have to,” Bailey said. “If it makes you uncomfortable, I won’t.”
“I don’t care if you spend his money. Just as long as he doesn’t think he has a shot with you. I called dibs.” Logan’s really unattractive leer set Bailey off in a fit of laughter.
“I’ll arm wrestle you for him,” Aleron said.
His return attempt at a leer was completely over-the-top, and Bailey laughed harder.
“You know, most people think I’m sex on a stick. I’m a billionaire, and I have this body and this face. Come on!”
“Sorry, Aleron. Logan called dibs.”
Aleron grunted. “Fine. But get what you need for the kitchen. I’ll use it as a tax write-off. My accountant will be thrilled.”
Bailey shook his head as Aleron left the break room, leaving him and Logan alone. “He does realize that he can’t use this as a tax write-off since the business doesn’t belong to him, right?”
“I don’t think he cares. He gets a new car every month.”
“Good point. I need to get the rest of the baked goods bagged up for the cabaret tonight.”
“I’ll never be so happy for something to be done and over with.”
“Yeah?” Bailey bit his lips to hide his grin.
Ashley and the others had been using the warehouse as a rehearsal space for the past week. Logan was not a fan of show tunes. The acoustics in the warehouse were pretty impressive, though. The songs echoed and echoed and echoed…
“I see you laughing.”
Bailey took one of his s’more brownies out of the pan and handed it over. “I would
