at his Facebook page - which the idiot left completely public - he's vague-posting all over about someone fucking him over and setting him up."
"Too bad, so sad," Jericho said, sounding anything but contrite.
"But, that's motive," Zara pointed out. "Get a pic, Riley. I'll add it to the pile."
"Dumping into the main drive," Riley promised.
Rhaven let out a heavy sigh. "Guys, you all know we're not going to catch this guy before F5, right? So what's our plan?"
It was Adam who answered. "I'm doing everything I can to make sure that any access to the network is logged and categorized first. We'll have a running database of who is paired with which devices. I'm calling it increased security."
"There's no way they'll go for that," Chance said.
Adam just scoffed. "It's Vegas. They'll go for it. Some will see the potential for privacy concerns, but after last year? I've got more than enough justification."
"The shooting wasn't at your hotel, though," Riley countered.
"But it impacted my clients," Adam said. "Add in the fire at the Clairmont, and I can make it work. Legal says I'm fine. Opt in, and all that."
"So, I'm adding extra security cameras to the gaming hall," Kate said. "No blind spots, no missed faces. We're going to make sure Cyn has proof when this guy screws up."
"And he's going to screw up," Dez said. "I'll make fucking sure of it, even if that means I have to hug every last gamer in the room."
"So," Psyc broke in, "the plan is still to head down a week early? We're just going to let this sit?"
"For a few hours," Murder told him. "Bro, my best friend is getting fucking married."
"And it's a simple service," Zara pointed out. "I don't want some long and drawn-out thing. I just want to make it official, you know? And from there, we'll all go back, have a few drinks, and dive back into this."
"No."
That didn't come from her headset, but rather behind her. Zara jumped in place, spun, and squeaked, honestly believing she'd been alone. Standing in the doorway, Jason had his arms crossed over his chest. Crysis was nowhere to be seen, but that answer was clearly meant for her.
"What do you mean 'no?'" she asked.
"Check Twitter," he said.
"Heard that," Knock told them. Then his breath rushed out hard enough to be audible. "We got a big problem, y'all. KoG is posting a kill list on their Twitter feed."
"How is that not down?" Amy demanded. "Twitter usually blocks threats like that."
Zara quickly opened the screen and checked, only to see they were right. Over and over, the account tied to the Kings of Gaming listed names. They were all in the same format, and right at the top was one that made her heart stop.
KoS: Zara Masih
"What does KoS mean?" she asked.
It was Dez who answered, sounding distracted. "Kill on sight. It's a gamer term - well, military too, probably. But it's like 'fragged.' One of those things for when guilds put hit lists on enemies to add a little extra spice to the game play."
"Pretty sure this isn't gameplay," Zara said, her eyes scanning the names. "That's all of us."
"And a few more," Braden agreed. "Someone check the names we don't know. We need to make sure those women have a head's up, and - " He paused. "Fuck, they're still posting."
Zara just turned back to Jason. "He's putting a hit list out?"
"And you were the first," Jason told her. "We'll have the wedding here, and then I'll fly to Vegas."
"Then why can't we just do it there?" she asked.
"I will fly," he told her again. "Not we, Zara. Me. You'll stay here where it's safe."
She just pointed at his chair and the headset lying in front of it on his desk. "Sure. You get in this chat room with all of us and explain that to them. Go ahead."
"What's up?" Chance wanted to know.
"Jason thinks he's leaving me at home for this," Zara snapped.
"Oh, fuck no," Murder said. "Is he logging in?"
Well, he wasn't moving fast enough for her, so Zara leaned over and pressed the button to turn his computer on. "He's about to be, or he'll be sleeping on the damned couch."
"With you," Dez added under her breath.
"Don't tell him that," Zara begged. "You all know I have to be there, right? This is our wedding! I need this to happen, and he needs this to happen, and we're not going to let KoG take that from us!" She looked
