to be cosseted, caressed… worshipped.
Joel slipped an arm across Finn’s chest and held him close, and Finn turned his head to meet Joel’s kiss as Joel rocked into him with consummate speed.
“Oh, just like that,” Finn murmured, pushing back to meet Joel’s thrusts.
“Can’t last much longer,” Joel gasped out. He covered Finn with his body, pinning him to the mattress as he picked up the pace, their flesh meeting in slap after sharp slap. And when he felt the throb of Joel’s cock inside him, Finn sighed.
One day soon, there would be nothing between them.
The thought was enough to bring him to the edge, and Joel clung to him as he shuddered through his climax, their bodies locked together.
Joel kissed his nape. “And I thought it couldn’t get any better.”
“You and me both.”
Joel chuckled. “We’ve only gotten started.”
Finn smiled. Now it’s we. Us.
There were never sweeter words.
“You got anything planned for next weekend?”
“Hmm?” Joel caressed Finn’s back, enjoying the feeling of mellowness. “Apart from spending as much of it with you as I can, no. Carrie’s taking the kids to visit my parents in Boise for a week, now school’s out. Why? You got something in mind? Apart from the obvious.”
Finn chuckled. “Mind out of the gutter, please. Next weekend is Levi’s party for Grammy’s birthday, and I wondered if you wanted to come with me. My friends will all be there—I hope—and I want you to meet them.”
Joel shifted in bed to lie facing him. “Really?” Joel was no fool. He knew what Finn’s friends meant to him, and this was a huge deal.
Finn nodded. “I’ve met your family—now I want my family to meet the most important person in my life.” He bit his lip. “Well?”
Joel’s heart was doing a happy dance. “I’d love that. Would we just stay for the party, or had you planned to spend the night there?”
“I was going to stay at Seb’s, with as many of the others who can make it.” He smiled. “Time for a catch up, and boy, will I have a lot to tell them.”
“Then you don’t want me around.”
Finn stroked Joel’s cheek. “Oh yes I do. We can stay at the Colonial Inn in Ogunquit. Dylan—another friend—works there. He can give us their friends-and-family rate, so we might end up with something pretty special. And I’ll have plenty of time to catch up with the guys at the party.” He grinned. “Besides, that’ll give them the chance to talk about us during their little sleepover.” Finn’s eyes glittered. “Just not the kind of sleepover you had, dirty boy.”
“Do you remember everything I say?” Joel marveled at his retention.
“Only the important stuff. But the thing is?” Finn leaned in, his lips almost touching Joel’s. “Everything you say is important.” Then Joel shivered as Finn grabbed his hand and brought it to Finn’s stiffening cock. “You got someplace I can put this?”
Joel grinned. “I have the perfect spot.”
Chapter Twenty-Five
Finn switched off the engine. When Joel made no move to get out of the truck, Finn stroked his thigh. “You okay?”
“A little nervous.” His gaze met Finn’s. “This is important.”
Finn’s heart went out to him, and he leaned across to kiss Joel on the lips. “They are gonna love you,” he assured Joel. “And they don’t bite.” He grinned. “Well, not so sure about Seb, but let’s not go there, okay? Hey, at least you’ve already met one of them. And Grammy is gonna love you too.”
“Grammy sounds like a tough cookie.”
Finn laughed. “She’s that, all right.” He squeezed Joel’s thigh. “Come on, let’s get in there. And just think. When this is over, we get to spend the night in that gorgeous room.” They’d checked into the hotel before coming to the house, and Finn had to admit Dylan had done them proud. The king room was on a corner with an ocean view, and the bed looked so inviting.
Joel chuckled. “We’d still be there if I hadn’t dragged you away. It doesn’t take much to distract you, does it?” He drew a deep breath. “Okay, I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.”
“That’s my man.” Finn kissed him again, loving the way Joel cupped his cheek. “Now help me get the rocking chair out.” They got out of the truck, and Joel helped him lift the chair onto the sidewalk. Together they carried it to the front door, which opened before Finn could ring the doorbell.
Levi gaped at them. “Oh, that’s awesome. Quick, bring it into the dining room. Grammy’s
