of me was like a drug.
The more I got it, the more I wanted it.
We fucked in the lake, each of them around me. And when we were done, we came back onto the shore, and I sucked their perfect dicks and finished them into my mouth. When they were finished, I was pulled to a standing position, and they sandwiched me between them. Alastair shoved into my ass, while Ellis fucked my pussy hard.
I was chanting their names. Screaming their names, when I came again between them.
The moment was perfect. It was everything I’d ever wanted.
“What the fuck are you guys doing?”
I turned toward the sound. Hunter stood at the entrance to the garden. Something had slashed his face, and he was filthy. He looked like he’d been through hell.
“Come play with us.”
He swore. “Those trees are Heart’s Desires. They make the world fade away. They make it so you only care about your heart’s desires,” he said.
I stared at him confused. “Come fuck me, my fae. I want to feel you inside of me.”
“It’s getting dark,” he replied, as if his words mattered.
“So let it get dark.”
He was quiet for a long minute. “You want me to join you?”
“She has more holes,” Ellis said with a laugh.
“Then come get dressed. Join me here. We’ll fuck in an extra special way.”
I giggled and raced for my clothes. Alastair and Ellis rushed to get dressed before I did, and then we were all tearing through the garden, heading for Hunter. But as we got close, he stepped out of sight. We chased him through the maze until we broke out of it, and then he was standing in front of us, arms crossed.
“Come on, clear your heads. We need to go. Now.”
“Clear our heads?” Why did he think our heads weren’t clear? We just wanted to fuck and play…in the maze…in this creepy carnival…where we were supposed to be collecting pieces of the Horseman’s head.
“Fuck,” I muttered as I truly felt reality crashing into me.
“What? What just happened?” Ellis asked.
“I’ll explain later. Come on!” Hunter called.
We all started to follow him, until I pulled up short. “But the last piece.” I looked back at the maze.
“I got it,” he said.
We rushed through the carnival as the last rays of grey light continued to darken behind us. When we reached the gates of the grounds, we pushed them open and headed for our car. Hunter opened the trunk, and we threw our backpacks inside. Ellis and Alastair climbed into the back, and I turned around and nearly bump into the older woman we’d seen walking earlier that day.
Her eyes widened. “I’m so sorry. I hadn’t wanted to frighten you.”
My heart raced. “What are you doing here?”
“I got to worrying about you. I just wanted to make sure more lives weren’t lost to this cursed place.”
“We’re fine,” I told her, if a bit curtly.
She nodded and pulled me into an unexpected hug.
My hands bunched into fists, prepared for some kind of trick.
“I’m glad you’re okay,” she whispered.
I wasn’t sure what happened, but a second later, the car was on and Hunter was in the front seat. The trunk was closed, and I was blinking in confusion as the woman was now a couple feet away from me.
“This place has claimed so many lives. I’m grateful that someone was able to escape the curse.” She gave a gentle smile, then turned and started walking back the way we’d seen her earlier.
“Come on, Mae,” Hunter called.
I felt strange as I climbed into the passenger seat, but Hunter put the SUV into gear and we took off down the road. My gaze clung to the sideview mirror as I watched the woman walking alongside the road.
“That was weird,” I said, glancing at Hunter.
“What was?”
I looked in the mirror again, and the woman had vanished. “Something was off about that woman.”
“No offense,” Ellis said behind me, “but anything would’ve seemed weird at that place.”
He was right, right? Yeah, he was, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong.
“So,” Hunter began, “how was it?”
I felt my cheeks heat, and stared down at my lap. Oh, hell.
Alastair cleared his throat.
Ellis laughed. “Even with the whole crazy flower things, it was the most fun I’ve had in a while.”
“Same,” Alastair whispered.
I looked back at them, and my gaze met the mages.
“Do you regret it?” he asked.
I didn’t even have to think. “Not for a second.”
He smiled, and we continued down the road. For now, we were all
