day. See you tonight, babe.”
“Bye.”
I hang up and blow out a defeated breath. Maybe I should call in sick tonight. But then I won’t get paid and I really need the money.
Damn it, why do I have to have this shitty fucking job? I drag my feet back to the cafeteria feeling very sorry for myself, only to find that Cameron is sitting with the other interns. This day just got a little better. I take a seat opposite him. “Hello.” I smile.
“Hello, Ashley.” Our eyes linger on each other. Amber is already deep in flirtation mode with him. “So, Dr. Stanton, what do you do to unwind?” she asks as she runs her fingers through her long, dark hair
“I like Vegas and ice cream shops,” he answers without hesitation.
I smirk at the floor. His memory is spot on, I click into my Facebook account on my phone to message him.
“What are you doing over there?” Amber asks as her eyes flash to me.
“Just downloading the Find My Phone app,” I reply. Amber frowns. “I would hate to ever have to give a lame excuse to someone about losing my phone.”
Cameron’s eyes hold mine and he tries his hardest to hide his sarcastic grin. He fails miserably. I flick onto Facebook and message him.
Change of plans
He keeps talking to Amber and I roll my eyes.
I continue my one-sided conversation.
My mother is flying in unannounced and I can’t do tonight.
Can we do Friday instead?
He laughs at something Amber has said and I frown as I keep typing.
Sorry, it’s annoying.
I really wanted to see you tonight
I fake a smile as I act like I know what they are talking about, and I hold my phone up to him as he glances over at me. Look at your phone, stupid. He takes the hint and opens his Facebook. I start talking to Scott who is on the other side of me. A message bounces back.
No
I read it and frown. He glares at me, and I type back.
What do you mean no?
He responds.
I’m seeing you tonight.
Tell your mother she can see you on Friday.
I fake a smile and reply. Somebody is horny.
Don’t be a baby. I will see you Friday.
A message fires back immediately.
I mean it. Stop pissing me off.
I fake a smile as I start to become infuriated.
Friday. Take it or leave it!
He answers.
Leave it!
Oh… this guy is something else. Hasn’t he ever been told no before?
I reply.
Stop being so high maintenance
He reads the message and his eyes bulge in fury. I can’t hide my smirk. God, he’s like a two–year-old. He types his message with so much force, I’m surprised he doesn’t crack the screen.
I’m not high maintenance.
Although you may soon be no maintenance.
I smile sweetly at him across the group and he purses his lips in anger. I reply sweetly.
When you are finished
being a spoilt brat…
Call me
I stand and smile at the group. “I’m getting back to it, guys. See you later.”
He narrows his eyes and I walk up the hall to visit Gloria.
Club Exotic - 10pm
I walk along the back of the club wearing my long, dark wig and my next to nothing cream leather outfit. My mind is on Cameron Stanton and what I could be doing tonight. I’m collecting drinks again. I think this is my favorite job here at Club Exotic. I get to see what is going on and walk around without making a million drinks for a million men.
“Vivienne.”
I turn to see the man from the other night. “Hello.”
He grabs my hand. “Have you come looking for me?” He smiles sexily.
I laugh. “No.” I take my hand out of his and bend to pick up a glass from a table. “I’m collecting glasses.”
His hand drops to my behind as his eyes travel to my breasts. “I will get you into the Escape Lounge.” He raises a sexy eyebrow. “You do know that, right?”
I shake my head and smirk. “Keep dreaming.”
He bends and kisses my cheek. “Very soon, Vivienne.” He then brushes by me before he heads down to the Escape Lounge. I smirk as my eyes follow him. He is one sexy son of a bitch.
“Ashley,” a familiar voice snaps, and I turn to see Cameron standing behind me. He’s furious. I can practically see the red glow around him.
My eyes widen. Oh no.
“Or should I call you Vivienne?” He sneers.

“C-Cameron.” I stammer.
“What the fuck are you doing here?” He growls.
I step back, shocked at his venom. “I’m working.” I glance around nervously.
“You work in
