come down Jonah’s throat.
Reed’s head fell back on the couch. His eyes were closed and the world felt like it was spinning. He knew he should check on Jonah, help them get cleaned up. But he couldn’t get his heart rate back to normal and he wasn’t sure he could even open his eyes until he felt Jonah shift between his legs, his hands sliding up Reed’s thighs.
“Reed?” His voice was soft, cautious, and questioning. “Are you okay?”
Reed forced his eyes open and leaned forward. He dragged Jonah up, back into his lap. He pulled Jonah’s mouth to his and kissed him deeply. He tasted himself on Jonah’s tongue and it only made him more ravenous. He kissed Jonah until he ran out of breath and when they were finally forced to pull back he kept Jonah close, their foreheads pressed together.
“Thank you.”
“Thank you?” Jonah asked, his eyebrows rising in surprise.
“That was incredible.”
“It was?” Jonah’s face split into a proud grin.
“Careful, Teach. You keep that up and you’re going to graduate my class before I’m ready to let you go.”
Jonah’s smile fell a little and Reed cursed himself for bringing up letting him go. He had no intention of doing that. Not today. Not tomorrow. Maybe not ever. He was falling for Jonah Monroe and he only hoped that when it came down to it, that maybe, if he was lucky, Jonah might someday fall for him too.
Chapter Seventeen
Jonah stared at his phone, wondering if he’d made a mistake. He knew he was taking a huge chance. It was possible he’d misread the entire situation and Reed was fine with things the way they were. It wasn’t as though he’d pushed for this, but then again, he’d promised Jonah from the start that he wouldn’t push him for things he wasn’t ready for. Maybe Reed was simply being kind and respectful or maybe he was happy with their closeted relationship.
In the past, Jonah wouldn’t have pushed for the answer to that question. He’d have let it go. He would have been happy with whatever the status quo was so long as it didn’t rock the boat. Instead, being with Reed, he was becoming more and more comfortable stretching his boundaries and taking chances.
Now… well, now he felt like a new man.
The Jonah from a month ago wouldn’t even recognize him. He had a boyfriend. He had a gorgeous, ridiculously sexy man, that spent his days lighting up Jonah’s phone and his nights lighting up Jonah’s world. He felt safe and accepted but also cherished and wanted. He’d even given his first blowjob last week, which had been… wow. As much as he liked being on the receiving end, he’d never expected the pleasure that came with giving Reed that kind of pleasure in return. It was always like that between them. He was always learning something new, whether it was about life and love or who he truly was, deep down.
Being with Reed for the last four weeks had done more to bring him out of his shell and make him comfortable in his own skin than five years of college had. And now he was ready to truly step into adulthood, accept who he was and give in to what he wanted.
What he wanted was Reed.
Not just in his bed. Not just in his apartment. He wanted to hold Reed’s hand and kiss him in public if he felt like. He wanted them to be able to go out and do normal things that people did when they were in a relationship.
Jonah might not have much experience with having a boyfriend but he knew enough to know that keeping him cooped up in his apartment every time they were together was a surefire way to lose him.
Reed was young and good-looking. He was outgoing and proud and full of life. He deserved more than quiet dinners at home, watching movies on the couch and falling asleep at ten cuddled in Jonah’s arms.
Jonah couldn’t be sure exactly how to give Reed what he needed, but he knew where he wanted to start.
“Hey!” Reed’s smooth voice pulled him from his thoughts and Jonah looked up to see that he’d missed the man who starred in all of his daydreams approach. “Sorry I’m late. My last class ran long. I hope you haven’t been waiting long.”
Reed slid out of his trademark leather jacket and put it on the back of his chair before he pulled it out and collapsed into it with
