is absolutely insufferable. I don’t know how Texans cope.”
“Of course,” I reply.
As our guests begin to make their way to the reception, I find my new husband. I take him by the hand and kiss him on the lips. “Thank you.”
“For what?”
“For taking me back. For agreeing to marry me here in my hometown. And most of all, for loving me.”
“What can I say, Brady Brunch? This sassy, confident Texan with a dress stuck to her hair fell out of a limo and into my heart. And now, I get to be her husband.”
I exhale, my grin threatening to reach my ears. “I love you, my Mr. Darcy.”
“And I love you, my Mrs. Darcy.”
THE END

This is the second title in the new Love Manor Romantic Comedy Series. The third book is Falling for Another Darcy and it continues Emma and Sebastian’s story right where this book left off. Read on to learn more about it …
Falling for Another Darcy
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in the baby carriage. Right?
That’s the way the song goes, anyway. For Emma Brady, marrying her Mr. Darcy was a road to happiness that is about to take a sharp turn to trouble. Creating a tiny Mr. Darcy isn’t exactly proving to be easy. Sure, being newly-weds mean they’re more than happy to give it a good shot, but as time ticks along, Emma and Sebastian’s efforts come to nothing.
It’s time to call in the big guns.
For Emma, that means mood swings, hot flashes, ovulation kits, and more needles than a haystack. Add that to an increasingly-disapproving granny, and Sebastian and Emma’s love is being put to the test in a way they never saw coming.
Will they get the family they so desperately want? And will their love survive? Or will Emma’s fairy tale ending with her Mr. Darcy slip between her fingers?
You can pre-order your copy of Falling for Another Darcy here. It releases on May 25, 2021.
Acknowledgements
As I sat down to write this, the second title in my Love Manor Romantic Comedy series, COVID-19 still had its firm grip on the world, New Zealand’s borders were shut to all but returning citizens, and I began to wonder when I would see my American and Australian family again. As I write these acknowledgements, it’s November 2020, and sadly nothing has changed. There is no denying that this is an unprecedented, strange, and scary time for us all. For me, writing a lighthearted rom com with a happily ever after provided exactly the escape I needed, and I’ve come to adore Emma and Sebastian and their world of Martinston and its surrounds. It’s my happy place, and wow, do we all need one of those right now.
As always, no Acknowledgments section would be complete without thanking my husband and son for their love and support of me and my writing. You are my rock, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there for me.
My critique partner, Jackie Rutherford, is a talented writer and good friend. She pulls my work apart and helps me rebuild it and is so incredibly positive and helpful to me. Without Jackie, I don’t think I’d be the writer I am today. She’s that good.
Wendi Baker is back editing for me, and I am so happy! Wendi never fails to make me really think and dig deeper with my characters and plot, and this book is definitely better for her input. Thank you, Wendi.
Another blast from my writing past is Julie Crengle, who proofread some of my earlier works. Her nickname in law school was “Eagle Eye,” which is very fitting for someone who not only catches typos and misuse of words but remembers everything. And I mean everything. Julie, I’m so happy to have you back on my team.
Sue Traynor created another gorgeous cover for me for this book, as she always does. Thanks, Sue. Thanks also to the authors in Chick Lit Think Tank and Chick Lit Chat Head Quarters. The members of these groups are so giving and supportive, and there’s never a dumb question to be asked. Before I entered this literary world, I didn’t know authors would be as supportive as they are, and it feels great to be a part of it all.
And finally, as always, a HUGE thank you to you, my readers. I love to write, and you make that possible for me. I hope to keep on writing fun, feel-good books for you!
