can teach anyone in the virtual program. Dreng and Peter want German. He can do that. The Bits are virtual at other Clubs or on the compounds. He can go to Alder’s school or do virtual from here. Four hours a couple of days a week should work. He can set the classes by the language interest. English for the Bits that don’t know it is my priority. Where he teaches is up to him. Alder’s school is the same size as ours. We have the arts and hobby shit on the other side. Alder’s is just the classroom.”

“He’s not a certified teacher.”

“He didn’t teach Alejandro languages? I watched him speak German and French to the Finland Alpha-Bits.”

“He did. He doesn’t need a degree?”

I look at Raid. “Do you need a degree from him for him to teach Daniel German?”

“No. They do state placements. As long as they learn it and pass the state shit, how they learn it isn’t questioned.”

“So he’s a teacher,” I tell my happy brother.

He laughs with Jordan and Brinks. Teller smiles. “He does well there. It’s a good place for him. He’s smart and good with the planning. They’re looking up class plans now.”

We all turn, Michael and Garren are at the table beside the women. Their heads are together reading something from Garren's tablet. My brother the teacher. The other is turning out to be the keeper. Teller has me turning back when he laughs.

He shrugs. “My brother’s keeper. It’s a thing.”

“Get the fuck out of my head.”

He laughs more with the Brothers joining him. Fucking Brothers.

When Jordan and Brinks get up, I’m ready. “I’m staying here. My mom and Jess will meet me at IT in the morning. Prez said Alder is bringing the kids here first to meet Web.” Stella waves at them. I look at Teller and laugh. He’s shaking his head.

Jordan looks at me. I shrug. “I have a guest house near Security. It’s the one with a forest on it. I can put Stella on the corner by Garren in a smaller house.”

“Security?” Brinks asks. I roll my eyes at him.

“She’s alone in a house, Brother. It’s a valid question.” He makes it like she’s five.

“There’s a reason she’s looking for information. If you continue to treat her like she’s five and needs you to wipe her nose when she sneezes, she’s too young to make the decision you want her to. She’s a grown fucking woman. She can handle a night alone on a secure compound with Security on high and physically here. She’s across the street from me with Garren, Alexia and Michael close. Every A here is Ops trained and some kind of medic. The Alpha-Bits are IT. The force field covers the whole ABSZ. Sensors run a hundred feet in, guns point out every twenty feet. She’s safer here than in your Club with Brothers roaming. Treat her like a woman, give her the information she needs and let her make decisions for her future with you in there.”

Teller laughs and puts his fist up for a bump. I bump rolling my eyes again.

“Yeah. I’ll get her clothes here. What house?”

Jordan pulls Brinks away. Raid laughs. “Good job, Web. You’re good at advice on women. I didn’t think you knew much about them.” He’s not wrong.

“I don’t. Justice gave me a list and Alder advice. I just follow both.”

They’re laughing again. Ford watches me then shrugs. “It worked. Alexia is happy. She said hi to me earlier. She never voluntarily talks to me.”

Raid and Teller stop laughing. Brinks and Jordan kiss Stella’s head and walk out throwing chin. I go for my girl. It’s time to see the stars getting brighter in her eyes. It makes the faded blue glow.

“Garren and Michael, show Stella to the house on the corner near you. She’ll sleep there tonight or for as long as she wants.”

“We will, Web.” Michael is getting more confident. I kiss their heads and turn toward the women. Alexia is already standing. “Star time, sexy Lexi.”

Her smile is all I get back. I don’t care since she’s walking my way. “Call if you need me, Stella. You know Security and Prospects. I sent for them to set the house with coffee fixings and fruit. Water and the woman’s basket will be with it. Order anything else you need.”

I like her smiling. “Thanks, Web. I’m good.”

Taking Lexi’s hand, I nod. “You are. Later, Brothers.”

Lorelei laughs causing Alexia to stop and look back. I put my
