“Yeah. I’ll keep Security with them for the time they’re at the Clubs.”
Justice shows next to me. He looks around throwing chin. “Sorry, Brothers. The second batch of drones didn’t test out right. Juan has them going again.”
Shit. “Was it the printer again?” Cort asks him. I watch trying to think of when the printers didn’t work. The satellite. It was the day Trask and Jinx got hurt on a try for Alder.
“Not really, Boss. New material is being used so the old testing didn’t work. Asa had the test set up for him with the old material. Juan didn’t realize the new material would need to change the testing. We got it straight and he’s back to printing.”
Cort nods. “Why the new material?”
“Teller got some sorted metals from neighboring states. Using better metals gets us a longer life on the drones. He’s talking to a Roger from the dealerships and junkyards here in state to get metals from them.”
“They’re incredible. I’ll have Brekan get Teller’s email to the junkyards up here.” Major loves the Bits and anything they do.
Justice smiles. “That would help. These drones are for the other Clubs. We have a hundred going out to Alpha, Champion, Delta, Elan and you at the MC today. We’re out of material after this batch. The charging stations are using a ton of copper on top of the drones.”
Cort looks at me. “That’s twenty per Club?”
I nod. “Yeah. We figured forty for Alpha, Champion and the MC. Elan and Delta at fifty because of the land area. That means we need at least twenty charging stations at each Club. The drones fly into them and charge automatically. The stations will run constantly at Elan and Delta until we can get some new stations built. I have two weeks but they’re short on material because of the smart cars and houses. They pulled copper for wiring in both.”
He nods. “I’m glad the IT building is done,” Cort says.
Justice shakes his head. “We don’t have the Drone Security buildings up yet. Every Club needs the building, plumbing and wiring for them. More copper is needed.”
Maverick speaks up. “No, I got the plans and already have the material.”
Jordan nods. “I do too. I didn’t think we were getting the material printed. Brinks has the material in and the two-floor printer showed this morning.”
Alder nods. “I send plans to Clubs, Pres Cort. We... supply drone, they build.”
Cort nods. “Good. So, we need copper for the drones and stations. Raid, get Banks on copper for drones. Who knows how much you need, Justice?”
“Maddox would have that.”
“Tell him to get with Maddox for the amount. Web, keep an eye on that so everyone gets the drones they need by the scheduled date. We have circuit Brothers from the east scheduled for the buildings. We need the buildings up and working.” Their new BSC circuit shit is going to help every Club but it’s new so right up front it’s an adjustment on a huge scale for the Brothers. Luckily, I’m IT and not in the middle of all that shit. We have our forms and procedures set for every department including surveillance. Everyone else is scrambling for the new they’ll be dealing with.
“Roger, Boss.” I’m relieved.
Cort looks at Justice. “I know you’re not happy with buying the shit we need. We have another recycling building going up. It will clean, sort and do all the other shit melting material down. Once it’s up, you’ll be able to get your material for everything you want to build.”
Justice nods. “Thanks, Boss. Alder has plans for the Alpha-Bits to print computer parts and solar as new internet businesses. The second building will be key.”
I look at Alder. He’s watching Cort. “One month, Pres Cort. New Alpha-Bits need work. I make work to them.”
Cort nods. “It’s a good plan. So, the drones will be in, the new section is covered in force field. Maverick, you have the new satellite printing, do we need it for the Clubs we’re going to be watching?”
Maverick looks at me. I shake my head no. He builds and sends them up but doesn’t use the technology he’s so good at building. “Web is saying no. I build and launch. The shit he does isn’t anything I learned in the Air Force. I’m an engineer, Cort.”
Cort nods. “Sorry, Brother. I’ll get it straight in my head. Web?”
I answer quickly. “The new satellites we have up have global capabilities. We can jump to other satellites and access
