you get the schedule settled. Use Stella, Mucimi and Hannah where you need them, Brother. Get your Alpha-Bits working your Teams to get this done and the cuffs finished. If you need Brothers or Prospects, tell the Presidents where and they’ll get you covered. Do you need anything else?”
“Protectors no talk. Alpha-Bits move forward. No shit talk, no head clear check.”
Cort smiles like the rest of us. “We’ll fix it, Brother. Go take a nap somewhere then tackle the schedule.”
Alder nods. “Teller on his way. Schedule then sleep. Boss Nova say I sleep fourth floor room, he guard.”
“Do that then, Brother.”
“Roger, Boss.”
I shake my head.
Cort looks around at us. “Questions?”
“The message to the Brothers. Loss of trust was my first thought. A computer glitch that’s fixed may not show that.”
Falcon shakes his head no. Cort answers. “I thought the same thing. The fix and computer glitch being a normal part of life nowadays.” He shrugs and looks at Justice.
“Teller says it’s not a problem. You will have questions. No money was removed from accounts, the zeros were dropped. Explaining it as a computer error with zeros dropped calms even the most paranoid.”
I shake my head. “No one is that paranoid here. Texas caught it. If Brothers aren’t checking, they aren’t worried.” Pres shares my thought.
“Anything else?” Cort nods.
We’re dismissed. Every one of us hugs or fist bumps Alder. “Know I’m honored, LP.” I get to him last.
“Me too. Aaron, Brody cuffs?”
I nod. “I’ll get cuffs on them. Water was finished in the other towns yesterday. Thanks for sending the printer over. If I can help, let me know.”
“Schedule for Aaron, Brody, Boss Hannah. I tell I need more.”
“Done, Brother. Do what you do, LP. You make me proud.”
He nods with tears in his eyes. “You same. IT no problem, you run no Boss Hannah. Easy to me. Thanks.”
I make a note to tell Debra then hit his fist and walk out with Champ at my side. Alder and Baldur run by with Nova chasing them.
Pres and Falcon laugh. Justice is just gone. I shake my head. I can’t wait to get home.

Champion
Hannah, Brody and Aaron spent the ride home on their computers. I tell Pres everything that’s been going on. He likes the water being done and is impressed with the transport flight business. He texted to meet Cort this week for it, so it being done was a surprise. His eyes show happy when I tell him about not needing Champ so much. I’m happy about it too.
Walking up the stairs to the Officers hall has him mentioning it. “You’re moving so much better. Smoother.”
“Get the fuck out! Security!” The yell is by the front door.
My head swings around and gun is out. Julius is on the floor before the Prospect is close to him. Bowser looks up at me and smiles. “That was cool, VP. He hasn’t aimed at anyone, just holds his little pea shooter. I think it’s for courage.”
I laugh. “I’ll get him banned from the compound. It should have been done.” This is the third time he’s been here.
He shakes his head. “He uses a Mason card. It’s always a different one. Boss Hannah checked the last time.”
“Get his picture out there so Security knows he’s banned. I want the card he used. He goes to holding for now.” Pres is pissed.
“You want Debra on his bank?” I ask climbing the next step.
“Yeah, good call. You shot him without being turned?”
He’s been gone for a week. “Yeah. I’ve been training at night and gained aim. I saw him and had the aim before my eyes were fully focused on him.”
“Impressive. Ranger is like that too. How many times has he shown?”
“Once last week, once the week before and today. Beacon told me about the week before when he showed last week.”
He shakes his head. “Three Mason cards?”
“If he has one today, then yeah.” Champ waits at my door. “Texas stepped up and helped in Ops last week. Michaels took Protector Lead while he did. I would have had no choice but to take Raid if they wouldn’t have stepped up. It was a crazy week of distraction here while the tries for Alder and Asa in Bravo were going on. Phoenix had air threats that weren’t real so my help was limited. Texas came in today for the transport meet so Beacon could join it. We need to recognize that for them. I mentioned it at Church. Without you here, there wasn’t a full house.”
