while sliding in. “Fuck, this is better than covered.”
“Jinx,” she says my name in a long breath, drawing it out and I memorize the sound and feel.
“Yeah, baby. Move with me, Debra.” My voice sounds rough to my ears. She moves with me not caring.

Debra
“Why do I have to move?” Leaning against this amazing man is right where I want to be.
He laughs. He’s always laughing. “I love that you had to try the ring out too. You made my fucking week with that one. I need to get showered and to work. I want to wash you and it might take a while for me to do it right.”
I smile. “You’ll have the shower brace?” Those new ideas flood my brain.
He laughs again. “I don’t have one for my arm so I can’t hold you up.”
“Got it. So before you’re out of them tonight, I want to be against the wall.”
He shakes his head. “I’ll follow your plan if I get to taste you.”
My whole body likes the sound of that by shivering. “Okay.” I move and he’s smiling. “I love you, Jinx. Thanks for making it perfect. I never had toys. I’m glad you knew what to do.”
He laughs leaning toward me and slaps his hand down. I shake my head at the laugh. The slap down was to stop him from falling I bet. “I love you too, Deb. Everything looks better today. I think it’s you.”
“Come on, the mutual adoration is getting old and you’re running out of time.” The ol’ ladies were right.
He calls Champ and makes it to the bathroom limping more than I’ve seen before. I don’t usually wake up with him so this could be normal. Moving around Champ, I drop the towels we’ll need on the bench and get in the shower. Standing in front of him, I wait. Trask had a long bar put in that Jinx uses while he washes me with one hand. It’s such a sweet thing to do. Seren and AJ told me it’s a Badass thing the guys learn. I love it thinking they’re smart men. His hand on me feels like the love I see in his eyes. Feeling it is so much better.
He lets me help wash him but only the back. Men are so strange. He dries me using Champ to hold steady. The man is unbelievably sweet. Kissing his lips changes his very intent look to a smile.
In the room I get dressed and he watches as he sits to get his clothes on. He’s not smiling. “What’s wrong?” Seeing him in just a pair of boxer briefs means nothing is wrong in my world. A smile would make that look better. The man is a hunk with any expression on.
“I want to do that.” He’s a hunk that pouts like his brother. I’m glad he doesn’t show this often.
“Later you can take them off me. Tomorrow I’ll help you dress first then you can dress me. I have to get to the tattoo parlor and you have to get to work.”
His smile comes out and he sits getting pants on. He uses Champ to stand. “Can you get the skeleton strapped?”
The doorbell has me walking toward it. “If you tell me how. I’ll be right back.”
Mase smiles. “Jinx’s ol’ lady. Is Olivia Wilde a relative?”
I shake my head no and open the door wider. “Glad you’re here. I only have a few minutes. I’ll show you how to get the skeleton on him.” Weird people showing up isn’t odd around here.
I nod thinking I’m glad I cleaned up Jinx’s room. “How did you know he’d choose that one?”
“Your room and it helps more with balance.”
I nod again. Answering what I think isn’t new to me. Hannah does it all the time. “Thanks.” I hope he knows it’s for the reminder that I’m part of Jinx’s life, it’s not a dream and he’s here when we need help.
He laughs. “Definitely not a dream. Hey, Jinx. I popped in to show Debra how to get the skeleton on.”
“Thanks, Brother. I’m not sure myself. Texas came last night to help get it off. I can’t see what they do behind me.”
Mase is a nice guy. He explains in front of the bathroom mirror so Jinx can see. It’s a band under his shirt for his leg, hips and back then the braces for his leg and arm.
“Hannah is making an everyday model that won’t show the wires. They got the new material to
