vaguely aware of Berrin and Franklin moving around the bathroom. The sound of running water filters into my consciousness as the lust I feel expands to unbearable proportions. I find my hands between my legs once more and moan.
“Get her undressed,” Franklin snaps. I peel my eyes open and watch as he strides towards us both. I don’t know if it’s because of the state I’m in, but the lust in his eyes is just as powerful and consuming as my own.
“Don’t fucking order me about, Franklin. I know what to do,” Mathieson snaps.
“Then get on with it. She needs to cool down. Now,” Berrin adds.
Mathieson sits me up in his lap, and my hands fall away from my pussy as my head drops forward. Around us the room is spinning and images dance in and out of my consciousness. I cry out, feeling overly sensitive in a different way now. The sensual, lustful way I was feeling is being replaced by something else, something dangerous. Memories loom just out of reach of my conscious mind and instead of being glad about that, I fear them.
“It’s too much,” I sob, my voice cracking. It’s like the truth of me wants to break out from my skin, like my memories are struggling beneath the surface of my mind, pushing at my flesh, wanting to escape, to be set free.
“Lift your arms, baby,” Mathieson says, his voice husky and even though I want to, I don’t seem to have the energy or the focus to complete such a simple task. I can barely breathe, let alone move my limbs. My body feels heavy, like I’m sinking under a tumultuous sea. My lungs feel like they’re filling with salt water as the ocean tries to drown me. But it isn’t the ocean, it’s just my tears. I’m sobbing now. I’m completely undone.
“Don’t cry, baby. Don’t cry,” Mathieson says, but his words aren’t soothing, they’re a warning. His fingers grip me tighter and I can feel his breath against my skin, heavy and hot. He’s panting, vibrating with something that fucking scares me. I tense in his arms, a sixth sense warning me that I’m in danger. The softer side to Mathieson has disappeared, replaced instead with someone who could hurt me.
I should stop crying, but I can’t stop. I fucking can’t.
Tears spring from my eyes and cascade down my cheeks. The sounds of my sobs seem so far away, like they don’t belong to me.
“Don’t fucking cry. Don’t do it, baby,” Mathieson grinds out. His body is curled over mine, his arms pulling me against him tightly as he presses his forehead against mine. “You don’t know what these tears do to me. I can’t fight it, baby. I can’t.”
My eyes snap open, full of tears. I blink and they fall, my mouth parts, tasting the salt on my lips.
“I can’t fight it,” Mathieson repeats, and I have the sudden overwhelming urge to comfort him, as though I’ve done it hundreds of times before now. Focusing on his pain, I reach up and clasp his face in the palm of my hand. He meets my gaze with his granite eyes, they’re hard like flint. One strike against the ground and a flame will alight, burning us both. I swallow hard, focusing on not crying.
“No more tears,” I mutter.
“Give her to me, Matt,” Berrin says urgently, interrupting this moment. There’s a warning in his voice and I get the distinct impression no one fucks with Berrin when he’s serious, not even his brothers.
“Don’t fucking come any closer!” Mathieson growls, gripping me tighter. The way his hands dig into my skin, hurts. It fucking hurts. I can already feel bruises blooming, but his soft lips brushing against my cheeks counteract that. There’s a part of me that needs him close, is drawn to the danger he emits. I want nothing more than to submit to him, to let him do what he wants, but another part of me is telling me to run far, far away. I don’t know which side is winning. The lust still burns inside the pit of my stomach, but fear is gradually taking over now.
“Matt, listen to me. You’re having an episode. The tears have triggered it. Give her to me, okay? Let me deal with this. We need to cool her down, she’s burning up,” Berrin says gently, edging closer to us both. I sense him nearby just like I sense the danger I’m in.
Mathieson shakes his head. His
