panted as Logan rolled his hips against me, letting me feel exactly what he was working with and how hard he was for me.
"What's that?" he asked, ducking down to kiss my neck, his extended fangs making him lisp slightly.
I gasped as he suckled on the delicate skin just over my thrumming pulse. "I have other mates."
He stopped like I'd thrown cold water over him. "What?" he asked, confusion clouding his dark eyes.
I sighed and gently pushed him away from me. "I have three mates already. I feel the connection between us, I know that you are supposed to be one of my mates, but I wanted you to know now so that if you don't want a relationship like that you can walk away."
He was quiet for so long that I expected him to turn and leave any second, but instead, he said, "I could never walk away from you Buttercup. If you have mates, I'd like to meet them, see if they like me enough to allow me into your life."
"It's a good thing we're here then, isn't it?" Magnus's voice boomed from the back door of the shop. My heart did a little flip at the sight of my demon mate, standing there tall and proud, with no glamour on. Gods I couldn't wait to get him naked again.

Buttercup
"Let's go inside, shall we?" I asked, before bending over to pick up my now empty coffee cup.
"What did you have, love? I'll get you a new one," Casper's voice came out of one of the shadows, startling me.
I told him he didn't have to, but he insisted, so after giving him my order the three of us walked into the back of the store and went upstairs. When we got up there, I wasn't sure what to do. "Either of you want anything?" When they both shook their heads and continued staring at each other I said, "Why don't we have a seat while we wait for Casper to come back? Magnus, this is Logan. Logan this is one of my mates, Magnus."
"He's a demon," Logan said immediately as though he hadn't been able to keep the words in any longer. "Sorry."
"He is. I'm part demon as well, I think," I said, trying not to let my voice shake as I said the words.
Logan's gaze flashed to mine, and out of the corner of my eye I saw Magnus smile, which made my heart squeeze in my chest once more. "But you're the sweetest person I've ever met," the vampire said, as though that made any difference when it came to our natures.
"And you're pretty chill for a vampire," I said, raising my eyebrow at him.
"Sorry," he replied, looking down at his hands where his fingers were twined together.
"It's okay. I only just found out myself."
"What? You didn't know? How did you find out? If you don't mind sharing," Logan asked rapid fire, his fingers clenching around one another.
I took a breath, preparing myself to be completely honest with him. After all, if he couldn't handle what I was about to tell him then he probably couldn't handle being a part of this relationship. "I was in bed with Magnus and Casper, we'd just finished, and my skin changed color. I also felt overly full, like I'd had too much to eat. I didn't know because I think it must have been my father that was a demon since my mother is a siren and claimed she didn't know who my dad was."
“You’re not a witch?” Logan asked.
I shook my head, “It’s easier to let people assume I’m just a bad witch instead of someone that could control them with a simple song, especially when trying to run a business.”
Logan fell silent.
"From what I've been able to find out, it was, uh, being sexually active with another demon that triggered it, since it hadn't already presented itself," Magnus said, seeming to want to break the weird tension that had filled the room.
I looked over at him, confused as to why he hadn't told me this before.
My feelings must have been written on my face as plain as day because he continued, "I only just found out today. My contacts aren't exactly helpful, I mean, they are demons after all. It's kind of in their nature to make things as difficult as possible." It made a strange sort of sense. "Most demons have quotas that they have to hit related to whatever their field is. Fortunately, I don't, but
