but I couldn’t disagree. I was a little bit turned on and a little bit terrified. Okay, I was a lot turned on, but the dizzying number of possibilities kind of made it all overwhelming.
Vibrating panties had the kind of possibilities I wasn’t sure I was ready for, but Coop pursed his lips as he looked at them and then slanted a look at me. Yeah, okay, I could see the possibilities. “Maybe next time,” I murmured before giving him a kiss for my coffee.
Rachel snorted, but continued on our tour. “Now, we haven’t really discussed kink limits, and you’re probably still figuring yours out.”
Bless her for not bringing up what kink conversation we’d already had. I didn’t think Coop would care that I told her about a kink without naming one of them, but I also didn’t think she needed to throw it in his face.
“I know some of them,” I admitted, and ignored both pairs of curious eyes that latched on me. “I can tell you that some of this stuff is not for me. But…at the same time…”
“I got you.” Still sipping her coffee, Rachel guided us over to the bondage gear. “Let’s take time to look at everything, maybe give you some privacy? And then if you have questions, you can ask.”
“Fine.” Coop dragged out the word as though it were such an imposition. “But we better be getting that mani-pedi after this.”
I adored him. I grinned, and he winked.
“C’mon, Rach, you can give me the tongue talk. Apparently, you’re full of advice.” He hooked an arm over her shoulders and tugged her away. And I wasn’t sure what floored me more. That he did it, or that she let him.
You know what, I wasn’t going to look that particular gift too closely in the mouth. I wanted them to get along. It would make my life a thousand percent easier if Rachel and the boys could all keep building that bridge. They’d all made positive steps, and with a glance after Coop and Rachel, I made my way through the bondage gear, but kept my pace slow and looked at everything.
Seriously, I looked at things I wasn’t quite sure how they worked and, in some cases, not sure I wanted to know. There was a crotchless body suit though that I did pause in front of it. It was almost all lace, and it was really pretty.
Not practical though, crotchless or not.
There were aisles with games and other items that I wasn’t sure what you did with them. And while it took me fifteen minutes of just idle wandering, I finally got to go down the aisle with the restraints. There were fur-lined leather cuffs. Stiffer regular leather cuffs. Chains. Yeah, I wasn’t sure what I thought of those, but the silk ropes were nice.
Ian liked restraints, but so far, he’d used his belt, T-shirts, his hands, and more than once, just had me put my hands up and keep them there. Would he like ropes? Oh man, just the thought sent little quivers through me.
Time to get out of this section. I did a quick visual check, and Rachel was looking at something near the counter, but Coop had vanished back onto one of the other toy aisles. Satisfied they were fine, I finished my circuit of the store, but at a wall of books, I had to stop and peruse.
Fifteen minutes later, I had a stack of books next to me and three more to read the jackets of and flip through. My coffee was finished, my ass was numb, and I was pretty sure I was going to spend way too much money.
“Hey, beautiful,” Coop murmured as he crouched next to me. His grin was contagious. “Find a few you want to get?”
I made a face and hugged the one I’d just been flipping through. “Nerdy, right?”
“Maybe a little,” he whispered. “But you’re the hottest nerd I know.”
Then he gave me a kiss. I sighed at the brush of his lips and the light weight of his hand on my nape. To be honest, my whole body went electric at the contact. There was definitely something smoking hot about being in this place. I kind of wished Rachel wasn’t with us or that we had one of our cars ’cause I could really go for…
“Keep looking at me like that,” he warned. “And I’m going to find out how kinky this place really is.”
Delight speared me, and maybe the threat of more
