around her like a halo, her skin is flushed, and her breasts are bared for my viewing pleasure. I’ve never seen a lovelier sight. Her inner walls clamping around my digits is enough to send me over the edge. I almost come right then and there before I pull myself back from the edge. That hasn’t happened to me since I was a teen. Gazing at Abby with amazement, I take in the pleasure dancing across her face. She tenses, and then shatters, quivering uncontrollably while screaming my name. My name has never sounded so good. I’m going to need her to scream my name like that all the time.
“Beautiful,” I murmur, eyes locked on her face. I knew she would be. Breaths coming out in short puffs, she meets my gaze.
“That was…take me to bed.”
I feel my eyes bulge. When she said a little further, I wasn’t expecting that.
But if she’s sure, I’ll take it as far as she wants me.
I want nothing more to be inside her, to the hilt, feeling the deepest parts of her surrounding me.
I’ll take her to bed.
And then I’ll never allow her to leave it.
Chapter Eleven
Abby
Bryce is staring at me with wide eyes. I know I said a little further but after the way he just made me orgasm, I want more. Those magical fingers of his just rocked my world, and I’m curious to see what else he’s capable of. Clearly, he knows how to please a woman. I’m laying on my back, still high from my release and his fingers are still buried inside of me. Normally, I’d be timid about our position, embarrassed even. I have no time to feel shy. The fire raging inside of me demands to be tended to.
“That wouldn’t be going a little further, Abby.”
“I know.”
“I want you to be sure.”
“I am. I’m positive that I want you to be my first.”
Bryce goes completely still. Is he even breathing? “You’re a virgin?” he finally responds. “We definitely can’t go any further.”
He pulls away, and I feel like I’ve been doused with a bucket of cold water. He tries to pull my underwear and pants up, but I bat his hands away to do it myself. No longer lost in a sexual haze, I feel embarrassment seeping in.
“What’s so wrong with that?” I ask, defensively, shooting him a scowl.
“Hey, wait a minute.” He snags my wrist when I try to put more distance between us. “You misread my reaction. When I said we can’t go any further, it’s because your first time should be special.”
Any anger and hurt that appeared, quickly vanishes. “Oh.”
I allow him to pull me back to him. “Trust me, finishing what I started is tempting beyond belief. But, your first time should be special, memorable. There should be candles and roses, the works.”
My heart practically melts in my chest. “I don’t care about any of that.”
“I do.”
“I’m sure anywhere and anyhow it happens with you will be great.” His kisses and touch alone indicate that much.
Bryce moans and pulls me in for a kiss. “You have no idea how hard you’re making this for me,” he whispers against my lips.
I’m tempted to push his buttons a little more to get what I want. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I’m never like this. Sex with anyone wasn’t even on my agenda. With work and school and worrying about what the town’s people whisper about my family behind our backs―sometimes to our faces―I never thought much about sex. Then Bryce came along, and I’ve turned into a wanton hussy, ready to jump him.
“Are you saying it can still happen?”
He sighs but a smile plays on his lips. “Deliberately tempting me. Wicked, wicked woman.” His head dips to kiss me again, and I angle my face upward to eagerly receive it.
“Abby?” A familiar male voice booms from the direction of the kitchen.
I gasp and pull away from Bryce, leaping to my feet.
“Abby? Lucy? Anyone here? Girls?”
With shaky fingers, I pull up my zipper, re-snap my bra, and finger comb my hair.
“Who the hell is that?” Bryce is on his feet, watching me with narrowed eyes.
“That’s―”
“Abby, baby girl! Didn’t you hear me calling?”
I swing around to face the new arrival. Jake Griffin, a long-time family friend and my father’s right-hand man. The handsome devil, the epitome of a charming badboy is kind of like an honorary uncle. But Bryce wouldn’t know that. He’s glaring in Jake’s direction as if his competition has just arrived. Does
