parents coming over?” Gargoyle asked.

Hurricane and Vortex turned to me.

“I thought you were an orphan?” Crystal asked.

“I am. My parents gave me up. This date involves meeting my biological parents, so it won’t be fun,” I muttered bitterly.

“I want to meet your parents,” Hurricane said.

“Me, too,” Vortex added.

I shook my head. “No, you don’t.”

“We do,” they said unanimously.

“Me, too,” Crystal said.

I sighed. “Sorry, but you really really don’t and you can’t because I’m going to T’s house and no one is invited.”

“Please,” Crystal begged.

“He won’t mind,” Alfred whispered to me.

“Who was that?” Crystal screeched and backed away.

“You sure?” I asked.

“I confirmed before I said so,” Alfred whispered.

“All of them? Or just the guys?”

“Anyone who wants to come. Your parents can deal with it,” Alfred said. “We won’t tell the real reason they are there.”

I chewed on my lower lip as I debated what to do. It would be nice to have everyone together. And it would help ease my worry about my parents.

“Give me a second to confirm. Alura, can I borrow your phone?”

She handed it to me without question. “Tell him I said I’m coming whether he wants me to or not.”

I chuckled, took her phone, and headed out of the pub to a quiet place.

“How much have you had to drink?” T asked with humor in his tone.

“Um, a bit,” I admitted.

“Noted. So, what would you like to ask?”

“It’s not fair that you know before I call,” I muttered.

He laughed and it made me smile. “Come on, Lucky, ask.”

“Can I bring friends over tomorrow? Crystal, Alura, and my other guys?” I asked.

“Sure. We can make it a friends’ day instead of a date day,” he said immediately.

“Really? You’re really okay with it?” I asked, trying to quell the joy I felt. “You’re okay with them all coming over, knowing my parents are coming, too?”

“I am,” he said. “Your friends and other boyfriends are part of your life, and I want to know about every part of your life. Your parents will have to accept it because they will be in their day guises and you are their daughter. They will be forced to see what a wonderful person you are now and that they are awful people for abandoning you.”

“You’re doing this to punish them, aren’t you?” I asked with a wide smile.

“Partially, but the other part is true as well. Are you really alright? You did die for a few seconds.”

“I’m fine, T. And thank you. I love you.”

“I love you, too, Lucky. See you and your friends tomorrow.”

We hung up, and I smiled down at the phone. How could this one man be so amazing?

“He said yes?” Gargoyle asked.

I turned and looked at yet another amazing man in my life. I nodded. “He did. Are you going to come, too?”

“You want me to come?” he asked and leaned his shoulder against the wall by the door.

I put my hand on my hip. “Austin...”

He laughed. “Yes, I want to come and I will come with you if you let me.”

I threw my arms around his shoulders, kissed him on the lips, and said, “Great!”

We walked back into the room, and I let everyone know they were all welcome to come.

After a few more drinks, and way too many appetizers, we all split up to our separate rooms.

Well, I went to my room alone and my guys went to their rooms alone, but I wasn’t so sure about Alura and Crystal.

They were getting rather chummy with the guys they had brought.

It made me happy to see Alura finally getting closer with a guy. I didn’t like that she spent most of her time alone.

“Why do you keep switching shirts?” Crystal asked from my bed where she lay on her side flipping through a magazine.

“I can’t decide which one to wear,” I said as I held up yet another shirt in front of me in the mirror.

“That one,” Alura said as she walked inside. “It brings out your eyes.”

“How are you feeling?” Crystal asked her.

Alura sighed and rubbed her head. “Hungover.”

“Me, too,” I grumbled.

“Medicine?” Alfred asked.

“Yes, please!” Crystal and Alura chirped.

I rolled my eyes and said, “Go ahead and give them the medicine, Alfred. I’m good.”

After putting the shirt on and brushing my hair one more time, we headed to the elevators and then out to the front where a limousine waited to take us all to Tyson’s.

“A limo?” Crystal asked. “Is he trying to show off?”

I shrugged. “Maybe, but he also likely wanted to be sure the Association
