The list kept going. Rhaven knew that Dez liked her cameras, but they were on the internal network. They didn't broadcast anywhere. No, that wasn't true. They went to her house, which was wired into the same network. She'd had a cable run from the warehouse to there so she didn't have to come into the office if she didn't want to. They had a picture of the back of her house.
"We need to be offline!" Rhaven yelled.
Braden shot to his feet. "That will pull the games down as well."
Rhaven just spun around to look at him. "FBI, Braden. Faces!"
"Shit!" He jumped up. "We'll need social media on this. No ETA on uptime." And he was heading for the door to the server room.
Rhaven had another idea. She hurried over to Jeff's desk and grabbed the cap off his head. "Sorry, but I need this." Then she made her way over to Jason. "Put this on. I'm taller than you, so stay close, keep your face toward the floor, and hunch or limp or something. Think Tank isn't recorded."
"Watch the camera on Amy's desk," Dez warned, hurrying to follow Braden.
"Amy!" Rhaven yelled. "Cover your cam. Everyone close your laptops. Webcams off, phones face down. We don't know what they can hack, but I'll be damned if we're losing our secret advantages."
"And we need them out before they destroy Renegade!" Dez called after her.
Jason just settled the baseball cap on his head, pulled it down low, then stood and turned right into Rhaven's embrace. "No offense, but I'm gonna check out your tits for a sec," he joked.
She couldn't help but laugh. "They're the real deal, too. I don't even mind if you say they're nice. Took me twenty years to get them. Well, twenty-two, actually. So, yeah, I'm kinda fond of them."
The whole time, they were moving toward the front. Gavin hopped up to walk ahead of them, adding one more line of visual protection. When they came through the archway, Amy had thrown a hoodie over the camera that looked down on her desk. All of her laptops were closed, and it appeared that her entire desk had been powered down. Quite the feat, considering how much tech she had running up there.
A few more steps and they were all inside the Think Tank. Jason stood up straight again, Gavin closed the door, and Rhaven let out a heavy sigh. She honestly hoped that had worked, but they wouldn't be sure until KoG went after him - or didn't.
Someone knocked at the door only a second later. Jason stepped to the side. Zara looked up. Rhaven turned to check, not surprised to find Chance on the other side. He counted heads quickly and then stepped inside.
"This room has never had cameras," he explained. "Don't want to risk the next game getting leaked. I can get a hot spot for you two, but - "
"We're fine," Bradley assured him. "Worry about out there. Jason, I need you to find out who's inside this thing."
"Can't if Dez has pulled the plug," Jason said. "I was chasing him when Rhaven moved me." He pulled in a breath. "They got a picture of Braden's front door, Bradley. From this morning. I was in it."
"And unidentifiable," Bradley assured him. "Zara's got a good idea, and I'm running with it. You focus on this guy. Rhaven?" The man sighed. "Go pick a fight? The Kings of Gaming are a terrorist group who is trying to destroy online games and blame it on women. Have fun. Run with it."
She grinned. "That seems to be something I'm good at." But she grabbed Jason's shoulder. "They had a picture of Dez's back door. Her place is on the network. The door is inside a privacy fence. They're over there!"
Turning around, she headed right back outside, leaving the rest of the people in that room to deal with this however they would. They were going to need a little distraction, maybe even a counter-attack, and that was something Rhaven was good at. She liked flanking and loved surprises. If it meant bitching at these guys online, even better.
"Amy?" she asked as she headed back to the warehouse. "Phones. We need social media. Come."
Amy grabbed her phone off the desk and followed. "Rhaven? What's going on?"
"KoG just hacked Deviant. Not just our website or our games. They hacked the fucking building, and I have a bad feeling they did it through Dez's place."
