in the hallway.
Had they expected this outcome when they helped me today? Because I certainly didn’t.
But I was glad it happened.
As I cleaned up and washed my hands, I stifled a giggle in front of the mirror. I had just had a threesome with two absolutely stunning men. And it was better than I ever could have imagined.
I hadn’t expected that to be on the list of Black Friday possibilities.
I walked back into the bedroom and found them both modestly covering themselves. Harper blushed when he saw me, which seemed hilarious after the assertive way he had taken control of me in bed. Riley held a pillow over his crotch but rose to kiss me.
“Want us to go back to the guest bedroom?” he asked.
“You had better not!” I said. “I’m chilly and need someone to warm me up.”
I crawled under the covers and they joined me, one on either side. I sighed happily as their body heat quickly warmed me up under the cloud-like sheets.
“So,” Riley said. “I’m free to volunteer for this again on Sunday.”
“Me too,” Harper said, kissing my arm on the other side. “Assuming you want to do this again?”
“If you keep raising as much as you did today, you can do whatever you want to me.”
We shared a laugh, but as it died down I couldn’t help but wonder what happened next. Where we should go from here.
Or if we should at all.
I curled against Riley and allowed Harper to spoon me from behind. Wedged between their two hot, chiseled bodies, I fell asleep almost instantly.
The bed was warm when I woke up the next morning, but I was alone under the sheets. I remembered that they had to be at work at eleven, so they must have left early. I didn’t even remember them saying goodbye.
I felt a twinge of sadness until I heard a dog barking outside. Several dogs, in fact. I slipped out of bed—and shivered when my bare toes hit the cold floor!—and went to the window. Out in the field, Harper and Riley were playing with the big dogs from the barn.
I grinned in spite of myself.
“You guys are up early,” I said after getting dressed and joining them. Harper was standing at one end of the field while the dogs chased a frisbee that was currently in mid-air. Riley was down at the other end of the field with the dogs.
Harper turned. The freckles on his cheeks danced when he smiled. “We wanted to let you sleep in. So we decided to let the dogs out for you.”
I raised an eyebrow. “You would rather play with a bunch of dogs than stay in bed with me?”
He blinked. “Oh. Umm. That wasn’t what I meant…”
I smiled at how bashful he was again. Back to the normal Harper rather than the alpha lover I had met last night. “I was joking. Thank you for letting the dogs out.”
“Thank you for last night,” he replied.
I leaned up and brushed my lips against his. “I should be thanking you. I’ve always wanted to have a threesome, but never had the opportunity.”
“We, uh, have never done that either,” he admitted. “That wasn’t how I expected to spend my Black Friday.”
“That was the exact thought I had last night too.”
Down at the other end of the field, Riley snatched the frisbee from one of the Golden Retrievers. Rather than throw it, he began jogging toward us. The pack of dogs chased after him, barking and snapping at the frisbee. Riley skidded to a stop when he reached me.
“Morning!” he said cheerfully.
The dogs, having seen me, abandoned the frisbee chase and surrounded me. I went to my knees to pet them, and was bombarded with licks to my arms and faces.
“That’s how I should have greeted you this morning,” Riley joked. “Licking you.”
“Don’t threaten me with a good time.” I petted the last of the dogs and stood. “You look like you’re having a lot of fun for a cat person.”
“I’m not a cat person! I’m having lots of fun. They love chasing me.”
“She’s sad we didn’t stay in bed longer,” Harper said, winking at me.
Riley grinned. “We can fix that. Let’s go back to bed. It’s cold out here.”
“Now you’re really tempting me…” I said.
The crunch of gravel underneath tires heralded a vehicle coming up my driveway. Bonny’s truck pulled up to the house and parked. She got out, looked out at the field, and cocked her head at us. Even from a hundred feet
