you had pulled your little stunt this week, I would have already been away on a mission. You still would have had difficulties as Archie runs a tight ship. Just your rotten luck I was home and available. As soon as we realized what files you were after, I was assigned to the case.”
“What do you do in the field on these missions?”
I laughed. “Well, they don’t usually turn out like this.”
She grinned. “You mean not everyone finds their mates on top secret missions?”
I barked out a laugh. “It actually happens far more often than you’d think. Three of my brothers have found their mates on missions. I certainly never dreamed it would happen to me.”
She bit her lip again and I had her out of that chair and on my lap before she could even react. There was a delayed yelp before I kissed her hard, sucking her lower lip into my mouth.
“You have no idea how much it drives me nuts when you do that.”
She looked me in the eyes and sucked her bottom lip between her teeth.
I growled and kissed her again.
She giggled as her arms wrapped around my neck and her hand fisted in my hair pulling me impossibly closer to her.
There was an equal hunger there. It was like we couldn’t get close enough. That kiss was hot enough to ignite flames and burn the entire hotel to the ground.
She moaned and let out these cute little whimpers. I smiled against her lips as my tongue plunged between them.
Her mouth never left mine as she stood up and repositioned herself to straddle me. I was hard enough to pound nails and I could feel heat pressing against me. I didn’t want her to regret a thing, but I couldn’t bring myself to slow things down.
This was my mate and a carnal part of me had taken control with the desire to mark her as mine in every way possible.

My head was swimming, and I couldn’t remember how we’d gotten into this position. Wasn’t I sitting several feet away? Everything was so fuzzy now. All I knew without a doubt was that his kisses were the best sexual experience I’d ever had. I never wanted to stop kissing him.
The more we kissed the more I ached for him. It was complete insanity.
I was straddling him now, rubbing myself shamelessly against his hard rod. I should have been mortified with my actions and the need I felt for him, but I wasn’t. This was my mate and I felt alive and powerful. There was no room for embarrassment.
In the few experiences I’d had in the past, I’d been a meek partner in bed. Vanilla, someone had once called me.
I didn’t feel vanilla now.
Tarron had awakened some sort of greedy sensual beast within me. It felt much like a hunt when in my fur. He was my prey and I had him firmly in my sights.
He peppered kisses across my cheek to suck on the lobe of my ear before continuing a trail of kisses down the column of my neck. I whimpered and mewed at the feelings he was invoking in me.
His hands rubbed my back searching for the hem of my shirt.
I was mildly aware that we had just met and there was a lot I still needed to know about him. I had never been the jump-in-the-sack, kind of girl, but you couldn’t have pried me away from him.
I didn’t wait for him to make the next move. I pulled back just long enough to remove my own shirt, then reached around to undo my bra, but he stopped me.
“Let me,” he said.
His voice was strained as if he were holding back, restraining himself. His eyes were so dark they were nearly black, yet there were so many emotions swirling within them. I could get lost for hours in those eyes.
I didn’t want him restrained though. I wanted him to feel just as feral and uninhibited as I felt.
I ran my hands up his arms slowly memorizing the feel of his skin. He was surprisingly muscular for an IT tech. I had thought he was hot before, but I had no idea what was waiting for me when I lifted off his shirt and discarded it somewhere on the floor.
He was cut with six pack abs I suddenly had the urge to lick all over.
A sly smile tipped the corners of his lips as I unabashedly gawked over my mate.
