I stop to let Chayser out first, followed by Nyx and Pope before moving, and I wait until they’re in position. Each brother gives the salute for us to go.
I pull the van around, meeting Drifter on the left side of the factory, and Doc pulls in beside me. Everyone gets out of the vans except us drivers. They ready their guns while Snake bangs on the garage door. It slowly begins to lift. The three men don’t have a chance to attack. They’re shot dead before they have time to blink. Drifter, Doc, and I hop out of the driver’s seats and join our brothers.
I announce, “I’m going for Miguel.”
“Me too.” Ace stands by my side.
“I’m with them.” Bam Bam joins us.
Snake and Hanger glance at each other, Snake replies, “We figured,” while Hanger agrees with a nod.
Snake adds, “Alright, you three find Miguel, and we’ll take the rest.”
We take slow, calculated steps into the factory. With my Ruger-57 ready to fire in my hand, I take the lead away from the rest of our brothers. We check every unlocked door, coming up empty each time. We continue down the hall and begin to hear shots fired.
Two men come running toward us. One goes for a gun on his hip, but Bam Bam shoots before he can grab it. I run for the other man, catching him and throwing him against the wall. Ace stands at his side while I hold him with my forearm, strangling his neck. I press my gun between his eyes. “Where’s Miguel?” I spit in his face.
“I don’t know.”
“Where is he?” Ace repeats, grabbing a fist full of his hair and yanking his head back. I pull my gun away from his forehead and press it under his chin.
“I don’t know. Maybe in his room.” The man easily gives up his boss.
Bam Bam roars, “Where’s his room?”
“Turn left at the end of the hall, and it’s the last room on the right.”
I pull the trigger, and blood and brain matter sprays from his head, all over us and the wall. Ace releases him, and his dead body drops to the floor. “Is it just me, or did that seem a little too easy?” Ace questions.
“Way too easy,” Both Bam Bam and I answer.
We continue checking each unlocked door until we come to the end of the hallway and go left just like he told us. We’re still coming up with empty rooms until the very last one on the right. I open the door, and the first thing I see is a man on top of a female.
“Are you Miguel?” I shout as we enter the room.
The man scrambles from the bed, and the female scurries up the bed. “Who the fuck are you?”
He starts to bend for his clothes, but Ace yells, “Don’t fucking move!”
“Are. You. Miguel?” I repeat.
“No.” The man puts his hands up. “I just work here.”
“You call this work?” Bam Bam questions and looks at the female. “How old are you?”
“Th...thirteen,” she stutters, probably scared shitless.
“You sick fuckin’ cunt!” I charge toward him, pointing my gun at his disgusting shriveled up dick. “You like fuckin’ little girls? Fuck this!” I pull the trigger, blowing his prick to pieces.
“Ahh!” he screams in agony and drops to the ground.
“Where’s Miguel?” I yell as I stand over him.
“He’s at a party,” he groans, rolling around on the ground.
“He’s not even fucking here!” Ace roars and puts the cunt out of his misery by shooting a bullet into his skull.
The girl screams like we’re fuckin’ killing her. “Hey.” I go stand at the end of the bed. “We’re not going to hurt you. We’re here to save you.”
“Save me?”
“Yeah.” Ace stands next to me. “My name is Ace, and I take care of a woman named Chapel who escaped from here.”
Following Ace, I tell her, “I’m Storm, my Ol’ Lady’s name is Haven. She doesn’t know she’s my Ol’ Lady yet, but she told me she loved me tonight, so that counts for something, right? Anyway, she’s Chapel’s sister and got away from here, too.” The girl smiles, and I wonder if it’s due to my babbling.
“I’m Bam Bam, and my wife is Rowan. She was here, too.”
“Bam Bam like on the Flintstones?”
“Yeah, just like that.”
Ace and I burst out laughing, and Bam Bam glares at us, but we are gaining her trust, and that’s all that matters.
“You’re really here to save me?” Tears are falling.
“We are,” I tell her. “Get clothes on so
