came all over again.
Then he joined me, sex magic flying all around us. I call it sex magic, but it was really love. It hadn’t been sex that had made Summer that night so many years ago. It hadn’t been this physical act alone. It had been what it represented, and that was what Dev’s magic was all about. Love. Sharing. Communion.
“I love you, Z.” His gorgeous face loomed over me, that slightly too long sandy blond hair brushing over his forehead. He was forty years old, but he still looked like the twenty-one-year-old he’d been—in the flush of his masculine beauty.
“I love you, Danny.” I’d always loved him. Since I could remember feeling for a male beyond my father, it had been him and then Devinshea, the surprise cherry on top, that special something that made everything perfect.
Daniel kissed me as he brought our bodies together.
“Hold still.” Dev moved in behind Danny. “I promise this won’t hurt. Tell him, Z.”
“When he gets that magic going, nothing hurts. It all just feels right,” I told my vampire. He was still my vampire no matter what his body said. My vampire was still inside there, still waiting to roar back to life.
I could feel Dev moving, knew what this would be like for Danny since Dev had been my first, too. There would be pressure and then a crazy sense of being filled in a way he never had before. That first slide out was one of the most amazing feelings in the world. It would be an experience my vampire would never forget, and I was so happy to be here with them for this first time.
The magic rolled over me as Dev unleashed another wave and my need deepened. I needed to move. I needed Danny’s cock thrusting in and out of me, but Dev was driving this particular ship. It was how we could all truly be involved.
“Dev, please. I’m dying here.” I knew my faery prince liked it when I begged.
“Wait for it.” Dev’s words came out on a silky breath.
And then Danny pressed against me, his face lighting with something like wonder.
Like I said, that magic of Dev’s elevated everything. I’m sure there are human females out there who will give me horror stories, but having Dev or Danny fuck my ass while we’re riding that magic was nothing but pure pleasure.
“Oh, god,” Danny groaned. “It’s not like anything I’ve felt before. It’s so good. Being with both of you…it’s so good.”
“Now you know why I like to be in the middle,” Dev said with a hiss. His big hands were on Danny’s hips, holding him steady. “And I know what it’s like to be in control. I won’t let you down.”
He never would. He pulled back and thrust in, sending Danny into me.
We rode the magical tide, letting it take us higher and higher until I couldn’t hold out a second more.
I held on as the orgasm hit me and the magic made it exponentially more. It was a glorious bomb detonating inside me, but rather than destroying, this bomb healed and cleansed and brought us together. Danny shouted and then Dev was going over the edge with us. We all held each other, ending up in a tangle of bodies.
I was in between them, wrapped in their arms as the magic ebbed to a low, soothing hum.
They were kissing me, their hands caressing my skin, and I knew it wouldn’t be long before we went for round two.
And I knew that something had finally settled between my guys. Something beautiful and intimate. Something that had been a long time coming.
We would get through this. And we would win whatever war Myrddin wanted to start.
“What the hell was that?” Dellacourt. It sounded like Dellacourt was standing right outside the tent. “And what’s up with all the pixies?”
Dev’s lips curled. “I might have lost control there at the end. You know the pixies love a good fertility ritual.”
Danny kissed my forehead. “At least Arwyna will have someone to talk to.”
Arwyna would figure out what was going on. The pixies always knew.
“Come, husband,” Kaja said. “Come into the woods with me. Remind me what a beast you can be.”
As Danny got serious about going again, I could have sworn I heard a wolf howl.
Chapter Thirty
Summer
I woke to Marcus’s kisses and the sound of grumbling outside the walls of our tent.
“Well, I don’t care what the manufacturer said,” a masculine voice was saying. “Whatever the freaky trio did
