he turned us so that we were in the shower stall with the curtain yanked closed, and we were kissing like a couple of crazed fiends. My hands were all over his head, his neck, his shoulders, pulling at him like I could climb him. His mouth devoured mine in a controlled frenzy of power. One hand was behind my lower back, yanking me forward and upward. Within seconds I felt him harden against my stomach. I reached down and rubbed him through his pants. I had zero thoughts in my head—I was running purely on physical sensation and need.

Somehow we were doing all of this with almost no sound.

Silas never stopped kissing me as he reached over and turned on the shower for noise, then turned me around, flattening me against the wall as he kissed down the side of my neck and his hand grasped at my hip.

“Harlow,” he whispered in my ear.

“Yes,” I whispered back, pressing my ass back in response. I began to tug my skirt up and it was the consent he needed.

Silas worked fast pulling the material up and it was the hottest moment of my life. My skirt was at the top of my ass and my panties were down just enough for me to bend and arch, and then I felt him at my entrance. His head was thick as it swirled to garner my wetness. And then he pushed inside me. I gasped with surprise at how much he stretched me, and he brought a hand around to cover my mouth. His other giant hand was flat against the wall, next to mine, and he pressed himself into me. Silas brought his face next to mine and our entwined breathing was a beautiful thing. Our mouths widened with every push of our bodies coming together, deeper each time. Nothing had ever felt so good.

Oh, God, I was having sex with Silas.

And then another shower turned on and a man began to whistle.

We went as still as two erotic statues. Silas gave a single pulse deep in my body, and that small movement seemed to smack sense into me.

What the fuck were we doing? Had the other pilot heard us? We would be fired!

In a flash of shock, Silas pulled out, yanking up his pants. I pulled up my panties and shimmied my skirt down, smoothing it with shaking hands as my heart sprinted. We both stared at each other with shocked expressions.

I finally blinked and opened the curtain to peek out. Nobody in sight. Without a backward glance, I grabbed my roller bag from against the wall and rushed into the couch room. I stood there staring around like I’d never seen the space before. Everything was discombobulated.

“You okay?” called an older pilot from where he lounged on a couch. I jumped.

“Yeah. Thanks.” Then I went back into the hall once again nearly crashing into Silas.

“Harlow.” He grasped my upper arms and his masculine scent went straight to my head, then my crotch. Oh, my God! I just had sex with Silas Russo! My friend and coworker! My Silas! A million emotions threatened to rise up and drown me.

I swallowed. “I should go. It’s late.” It came out breathy.

His eyes were still hooded as his face scrunched with hurt, and I couldn’t deal with either of our emotions right now. It was too much. I quickly threw a wall up inside of myself. Numb. I had to be numb. Otherwise I might have a panic attack right here in the crew room.

“Are you upset with me?” he asked.

“No,” I whispered. “Not with you. I just…I shouldn’t have done that.”

It was the wrong thing to say. He sagged against the wall and covered his face with both hands. Emotions pummeled at my wall, but I couldn’t let them in. I touched one of his arms.

“Don’t do this,” I begged, needing him to be strong. Needing one of us to be strong. He dropped his hands and put them on his hips, his eyes glossy.

“I fucked everything up.” He looked at me with all the heartache apparent in his deep brown eyes, and my chin trembled. His voice lowered and he hissed, “I didn’t even think about a condom!”

I made a face, because, yeah, we hadn’t been thinking straight. “Well, I’m on the pill,” I said. “And I’m clean if that makes you feel any better.” Ugh. Fucking awkward.

His head fell back against the wall and he rubbed his face.

“We’re fine,” I barely
