I relayed this to Gamble, as I should’ve, and she’s perfectly fine with us using the Romanians to our advantage whenever we can. Keeping them happy means we have a lot to gain.
“You have no idea how much I hate that.” Ravage growls, furious that this bastard is still on the loose.
“I think we all know,” Needles speaks up, showing his anger towards the situation as well.
“Will we be able to borrow one of your new friend’s jets?” Ravage asks me.
I shrug my shoulders. “Maybe. I haven’t asked.”
“I can take care of it.” Needles speaks again.
Everyone in the room shifts their attention to him. “You can take care of it?” Ravage asks.
Needles nods. “Yeah. You know I was special ops. I can call a couple of my boys and take care of him, quietly.”
“I can’t tell if you’re serious or fuckin’ with me.” Ravage says. Shit, I think everyone in the room feels that way right now.
“Why would you think I’m fucking with you?” Needles blinks his eyes a few times, annoyed as fuck.
“You just what, wanna get on a jet and slide into the Ukraine like you’re slidin’ into bitches DMs?” Judge snickers.
“I could kill you in your sleep and you fucking know it.” Needles grumbles. He looks back to Ravage. “Let me do this. I’ll get it done.”
“I’m not going to authorize that. We need to get intel on Konstantin before I give the go ahead, and more importantly, we need Gamble to be okay with it.”
“She won’t say no. She and Hart want this guy’s blood more than anyone else.” Needles tells the group.
Ravage knows he’s right, and he won’t even deny it. He can’t. We’re all reeling that Konstantin slipped away. I was dealin’ with Riva’s shit, but expected them to nab him before he got too far. Unfortunately, that’s not the way shit went down.
“You’re not heading into a snake’s nest. We’re going to obtain intel, figure out his routine, and follow him then you can go in.”
“You’re wasting our time. He could be gone by then.”
“And we could lose you. We’re not doing that. You fucking feel me? We’re not going to lose anyone else. We lost Dog. We almost lost Ace. Fuck if we put anyone else’s life at risk. You’re going to fall in line and follow what Gamble or I say, and if not you can pack your shit up and leave.”
Needles scoffs, “You have no idea how many times I went in with bad intel. How it almost cost me my life. But I made it through. Every fucking time, I got out.”
“I don’t give a fuck!” Ravage roars with all his might.
“Fine. You want to let him get away again, let him run off somewhere else. When you’re ready to pull out your knight just let me know.” Needles snarls, rises from his seat and heads out the door, slamming it shut.
“Damn, that was intense.” Judge mutters, getting a glare from Ravage.
“No one asked for your commentary.” Ravage grumbles.
“We’ll get Konstantin. It just might take a minute. But I promise you, we’re going to get him for what he did . . . and fuck if we won’t make him suffer in the ways we’ve all dreamed about.” I speak up, looking at everyone in our chapel.
“Damn straight,” Judge agrees.
“Judge, I need you to contact your IT guy, see what he can find.”
“You mean Lucian? He’s a hacker, not just an IT guy.” Judge says.
“Whatever. Po-tay-toe, Po-tah-toe. Just do what I said.”
Judge puts his hand up in surrender. “Okay, jeez. I’ll get some shit on him. Don’t you worry.”
Church ends and we all spread out. I hate that we didn’t deal with Konstantin just yet . . . but we will. We’re all reeling for his blood. No one goes after the youngest member of our club and gets away with it.

How is it Christmas day already? I don’t know if I’m losing my mind, but it feels like over the last week everything has been fast forwarding, like the setting on a VCR. “You alright?” Mammoth asks me, but I call him Fredrik in front of his family. He’s in a deep emerald green sweater with his hair pulled back in a ponytail. His beard is perfectly groomed, as always and he’s smiling loads today.
Only, we’re not alone. My mother and sisters are here. I’d called and told them what happened to pappa so they wanted to come see
