and gathers my feet before placing them on his lap. Then he pivots my body so that Ryan’s cradling me from behind. I lean back against Ryan’s broad chest, sighing with contentment, and I can feel his big chest vibrate with chuckles.
“Relaxed, baby girl?”
I blush again but then nod.
“Very.”
Reese laughs too and shucks off my shoes. Before long he begins to massage my feet, paying extra attention to the soles.
Closing my eyes to enjoy the pleasure, I realize that it was nice to be able to just relax and have someone else take care of me for a change. As he begins rubbing my calves too, Reese says, “I know we’re closing the barn door after the horses escaped, but I just want to ask one more time: are you sure that you want to be with both us? I can tell you right now that this won’t be easy. People have a tendency to attack that which they don’t understand, and we live in a small town. Everyone’s going to have an opinion.”
I exhale slowly, my bones dissolving into a warm puddle.
“Yes, I definitely want to be with you guys. I’m attracted to you both, and I want to see where this relationship can go. I like the way you make me feel when I’m with you. But you still haven’t told me how this will work.”
Ryan looks down and asks, “How would you like it to work, Amelia? You’re the one in control here. We don’t want to do anything that you’re not comfortable with. You’re the one in charge of our dynamic.”
Taken aback, I shift uncomfortably. “Well, I’m not sure.”
Laughing with me, Ryan chuckles.
“No pressure at all, sweetheart. All I’m saying is there’s no rush to figure out how you want this to be. Ultimately, you’re the one who will decide how our relationship will look going forward.”
Nodding my head in understanding, I think aloud, “Okay…so let’s work through this. I think I want to be with both of you at the same time. It just feels right that way. So, how does this work exactly?”
Reese continues to massage my legs and feet. Looking up he explains.
“It works just like a regular relationship; we still go on dates. If you don’t always want to do things with both of us, then it’s perfectly fine to just do things one-on-one. That’s what Ryan meant by you being in control of our dynamic. You call the shots.”
Shaking my head in understanding, I say, “That makes sense. But like I said, I think I would prefer for us to do all the normal stuff as one big couple, if it isn’t too strange.”
Ryan interrupts to say, “A throuple, you mean.”
Confused I ask, “A who what?”
Ryan begins chuckling at my question, and I blush, but how am I supposed to know all of these words? Taking pity on me, Reese stops massaging my legs and explains.
“A throuple is a relationship where three people date each other; think of it as a triangle.”
Rolling my eyes at Ryan’s childishness, I reach under me to smack his arm.
“Ass. So, we’re a throuple. So does this work with sex too?”
This seems to bring Ryan in line, and his eyes go dark. There’s a moment of silence before he softly asks, “Do you want it to?”
That was a stupid question if I ever heard one. Scrunching my eyebrows, I ask, “Is that a serious question? Of course, I do. Last time was amazing, and I definitely want to do it again as often as possible. Why would you question that? I thought you guys enjoyed last night too.”
Kissing my forehead, Ryan whispers, “Amelia, we definitely don’t deserve you, but I am so glad that you want to be with us.” He gently lifts my chin to break some of the tension that has suddenly come out of nowhere. “Of course, we enjoyed last night. And we can do that as often as you’d like.”
“Why are you surprised then?” I ask innocently.
The two men are thoughtful.
“Well, in our experience, most women say they want to be in a threesome, but they’re greedy. They want all the attention focused on them, and they get uneasy when the two of us are together.”
I swallow.
“You mean, when you’re with each other.”
Reese nods seriously.
“I think a lot of people have hang-ups that they don’t like to acknowledge. But when you’re in bed getting dirty, it all comes out.”
I think for a moment.
“No, I’m okay with that,” I say. Then I shoot
