Moving On (Rolling Thunder #7) - P.J. Fiala Page 0,24
tugged her along not sure what more to say about Olivia. He was glad she knew now where he stood, it made things a bit easier, though it was maybe a hurtful way for her to find out he'd made a decision to be with someone else. It wasn't intentional, but it was out now.
Tossing his leg over his bike seat, he sat, pulled his bike off the kickstand and looked over at LuAnn. She smiled at him and wasted no time climbing on behind him. She scooted close to him and her heat enveloped him as her arms circled around his waist. Her fantastic breasts pressed against his back and his cock twitched knowing what pleasures were to come.
He started his bike, put it into first gear and eased her out of the parking lot and onto the road to his home. It would be the first time LuAnn saw his home. He'd been so fucking proud the day he moved in, but for some reason, this felt like more. His chest swelled at the feeling of showing LuAnn what he'd managed to buy on his own. It wasn't palatial in any way, but it was a nice-sized house on a decent lot. He didn't have a fireplace inside, so he'd built a fire pit in the backyard and there'd been plenty of parties around the fire over the past couple of years.
He didn't have a cleaning lady, but he'd managed on his own. His lessons from hanging with Dog and the boys stuck with him. Get up in the morning and make your bed. Pick up your dirty clothes and once a week do your laundry, so you always have clean clothes. Other things like dusting he'd managed once every couple of weeks or so and he'd bought himself a little vacuum robot that ran every day while he was at work to vacuum the house. Though sometimes he had to go in search of her, it did keep the house moderately clean.
His excitement grew as they neared home and when he finally turned down his street his heartbeat sped up. He hoped she'd like his house.
He turned into the driveway and his sweet little ranch style home, illuminated by solar lights along the landscaping, looked homey and welcoming.
"Wow, Chase, this is amazing." LuAnn whispered in his ear and goosebumps raised on his arms. Reaching into a compartment on the dash of his bike, he tapped the garage door opener and smiled as his truck and Mustang came into view. As soon as the door opened enough for them to slip under, he pulled them into the garage and shut off the bike. LuAnn dismounted and he dropped the kickstand and climbed off. Taking LuAnn's hand, he walked to the door, which lead to a mud room, and then into the kitchen. Tapping the garage door button on the wall to close it, he opened the backdoor and held it allowing LuAnn to proceed him inside.
His mud room was where his shoes, boots and jackets all hung, and it was also where his washer and dryer were. He had a laundry basket alongside the washer, half-filled with clothes but otherwise, it was rather neat.
"Very nice."
She looked around the room and his heart expanded that she was enthralled with his home.
"Thanks. Come see the rest of it."
He stepped out of the mud room and into the kitchen, his white maple cabinets setting off the tone for the rest of the room. Hardwood floors and white baseboards added the color contrast that lent itself to that homey feeling. He’d had granite counters installed seven months ago in a rich darker brown.
LuAnn looked around the room, her hand lovingly roamed over the granite as she took in the whole feel of the room. She turned and looked into his eyes, a soft smile on her face, and said, "This home is so you. It feels warm and comfortable and inviting. It's perfect."
He felt close to combusting at her praise and his throat felt tight. Rather than trying to say something, he pulled her into his arms and his lips brushed against hers. At first he meant to be soft, but the second their mouths joined, his head stopped thinking. At least the head on his shoulders did.
His hands roamed down to the bottom of her shirt and began pulling it up, only releasing her mouth long enough to pull her shirt over her head, then his lips consumed hers once again.
