Logan (Dad Bod Doms #1) - Golden Angel Page 0,29

going to remind herself how much her butt hurt.

Logan

Seeing Felicity settle down, Logan started to relax a little himself. Big old hypocrite was what he was. Before he’d noticed her staring in the mirror and scowling at herself, he’d been way too focused on the way his stomach hung over his leathers, how tight they were in places they’d never been tight before, and feeling like a sausage squeezed into a too-tight casing.

Then he’d noticed his wife in front of the mirror and realized something was wrong. Being able to take control and settle her down had him feeling a lot better, too.

The body didn’t make the Dom any more than it made the sub. Something they both needed to remember, apparently.

Grabbing Felicity’s coat, he helped her into it, put on his own, then picked up the bag containing his kit. He’d checked everything over at home and knew it was ready for tonight. They weren’t going to do anything too fancy, but Logan was more than ready to get out some of the long-neglected toys they used to play with.

“Ready, sweetheart?”

“Yes, Sir.” She was a little breathless, and Logan didn’t think it was from the spanking, although a sore bottom probably had helped her move into a more submissive headspace. It had certainly helped him get himself into Dom mode.

No one in the lobby gave them a second glance, but he could see Felicity squirming a little as they waited for the Uber. Even though she was completely covered up by her coat, she knew how little she was wearing underneath, and it was having an effect on her—on him, too. By the time they climbed into the Uber, she was giggling and doing her best to keep her coat and the silky skirt of her negligee from riding up. The driver didn’t even seem to notice.

The ride was short, and Felicity’s eyes narrowed as they got closer and closer to the club. When the car pulled up across the street from the Outlands, where there was already a line formed outside, she turned to give Logan a look.

“I should have known.” Her lips quirked with amusement.

Chuckling, Logan thanked the driver and helped Felicity out of the car. She bounced out, looking around curiously. The line across the way was mostly college-age students or a little older, dressed for a night out. There were two bouncers in front of the door, who both looked a little bored.

Taking Felicity’s hand, they crossed the street, and Logan went up to the bouncer on the left, as he’d been directed in the email he’d received. The big guy was older, muscular, and looked as though he might be former military by his stance—he reminded Logan of Faris and Ray. When he saw Logan and Felicity coming toward him, he straightened, his eyes flicking over them from their faces down to the bag Logan was holding. As soon as Logan reached him, he bent forward expectantly, so Logan could talk directly in his ear.

“Logan and Felicity Hunt, noobs,” Logan said, trying not to feel ridiculous.

The bouncer didn’t laugh, thankfully. Nodding, he gave the other bouncer a signal, then silently motioned for Logan and Felicity to follow him.

The explosion of sound when the door opened was enough to make Logan shake his head to get his bearings. The music and the crowd inside were loud. The room was packed with people, gyrating and screaming. There was a DJ on stage and two women in the cages beside him, wearing next to nothing, swiveling their hips and shimmying their breasts at the crowd.

Even in his college years, this kind of thing hadn’t been Logan’s scene, and it definitely wasn’t now. Felicity, on the other hand, laughed and bounced along to the music as they were led along the outskirts of the club to a door along the left wall, Logan hadn’t noticed before. It was tucked between two booths with another two bouncers there. Considering the crowd, Logan was glad to see the privacy of the other part of the club was well protected.

One of the bouncers opened the door for them. The sound shut off abruptly when the door closed behind them, leaving them in a hallway with red-and-black damask wallpaper, a rich red carpeted floor, and small crystal chandeliers hanging down along its length.

“Wow,” Felicity whispered. “Pretty…”

“Very.” Logan hadn’t been sure what to expect. The hallway wasn’t very long, leading to a staircase, which they followed down to a kind of lobby, decorated
