because I heard some of the girls saying he didn’t push them to do anything but that he’s a good kisser.”
I was back to not knowing what to say. “Really?”
That had Destin giggling again and Leon actually came out of the kitchen to check on us. Well, me. “Are you okay? If he makes you uncomfortable, I’ll stop the teasing or whatever he’s doing.”
Destin huffed and flopped over on me. “I’m being so good. Me and Morgan are going to be the bestest of friends like you and me. I’m not scaring him.”
No, but I was slightly confused and a bit startled.
But admitting that would just lead to a lot more questions, so I did my best to fake a Destin smile. “No problems here. We’re fine.”
Leon shook his head. “You lie worse than he does.”
But he walked away, so I took that to mean he wasn’t going to push. His words also had the effect of making Destin laugh even more. When he finally calmed down, he was still grinning. “I’ll help you learn to do that better. Every sub needs a sweet, innocent smile.”
They did?
Keeping my voice low so that Leon wouldn’t hear, I leaned down. “I’m not a naughty sub. I like being good.”
Destin snorted. “Then you don’t get punished or even a fun punishment like when Daddy makes up something that I’ve done wrong.”
He was acting like he needed to show me that I was doing my job wrong. “I don’t think I want to get punished, but thank you for the information.”
I was trying to be polite, but Destin laughed so hard he rolled off my lap and the couch. At the thud, Leon cursed from the kitchen and came out frowning, his arms folded across his chest. “What do you think you’re doing?”
Yep, he was a Daddy.
Just kind of a grumpy one.
I hadn’t realized they came in that flavor.
That part was supposed to have stayed in my head, but judging from the way Destin’s laughter picked up and Leon stared in confusion, it might not have. Thankfully, it didn’t seem like he understood what I was talking about.
His eyes darted back and forth. “I have a feeling you’re not talking about waffles, but I’m not even going to ask. You two have about five minutes before the first round of waffles is done, so pick something out.”
Yep, we’d frustrated Daddy.
Hmm, he was even cuter when he was stern and worried.
Maybe there was something to this punishment thing after all.

Daddy had very strong opinions on Harry Potter.
Okay, Leon, not Daddy, but once Destin pointed it out, I had a hard time moving past the images he’d put in my head. Leon really was this grumpy Daddy who just didn’t seem to be interested in dating. Destin had even poked at him as we’d watched the first Harry Potter movie, wanting to know if he’d been seeing anyone.
Leon hadn’t seemed to understand the draw of dating. He’d made some kind of vague comment about dating being boring and having better things to do. Destin had just given me a look that said I told you so and kept rambling about his week and the movie.
I hadn’t dated much because of the whole sub looking for a Daddy thing, so I didn’t say anything. Most of the guys I’d met online when I had been looking were all older. I wanted a Daddy who was my age, but that seemed to be some kind of dating unicorn.
And from my experience with Stan, Dom didn’t mean stable and it didn’t mean they could be a Daddy. So my plan had been to step back from dating for a while and get older. Once I was older, there should be more Daddies around.
Right?
Destin poked me, making me lose my train of thought. “Stop daydreaming and watch the movie. Sexy men can wait. This is Harry Potter.”
Leon snorted but kept watching the movie. I just giggled and poked him back. “I wasn’t thinking of sexy men. Stop poking me.”
“Well, you can’t be hungry because you ate like a dozen of those waffle things and that look is either for good food or great men.” Destin sounded like the ultimate authority on men and dessert, which had a lot of questions popping up.
Leon actually laughed. “You are not the food or sex guru that you’re trying to make him think you are. Stop that. He can think about anything he wants, and you were not that experienced when you met Ray
