our way to the kitchen to grab some breakfast.
Drew and Natasha are already here, munching on their luscious pancakes. After Elise begs for Natasha to make us some, we sit down with smiles and wait for our own.
“I’m so excited for the BBQ.” Drew grins. “I need a drink, and that’s the only time I’m able to get my hands on alcohol.”
“Why?” I ask.
“In case you didn’t notice, I have three overprotective brothers and an even worse father who watch over me all the time. It’s even worse now that we’re in lockdown.” She sulks.
Finishing our breakfast, we spend the rest of our morning relaxing in the gardens and watching the men set up for the BBQ. Around noon, Laura and June appear at our sides and demand they need our help in the kitchen.
“What?” Elise moans.
“But everything is being cooked out here.” Drew points to the many stations being set up in front of us.
“Not everything.” Laura snaps at her daughter. “All of you up and get to helping.”
Elise rolls her eyes and we all follow. As I do, I clock the whore who was talking shit about me the other night and her eyes drop when she looks at me.
“That bitch got a telling off.” Drew snickers.
“Really?” I ask. Brandon said she was being seen to, but I didn’t really take him seriously.
“The whores aren’t allowed to talk to us. We’re family members, unless we approach them of course.” Elise informs me.
“And she got it bad because she was bitching about you and caused a fight.” Drew adds.
“But I’m not a family member.” I point out and they both stop walking, even June and Laura who must have overheard our conversation.
“Of course you are!” Shouts Elise, and Drew nods beside her.
“Honey,” Laura approaches me. “Since the day you helped Elise, you were family.”
“You’re one of us now.” June smiles. “Those stupid whores don’t have anything on you. As soon as she said those words about you, she was doomed.”
“What do you mean?” I ask.
“Remember the ranks I told you about?” Elise asks. “Well, the whores are rock bottom. Don’t get me wrong, I talk to some of them because not all of them are bitches, but most are. They just want the club members, but here family comes first and you’re family now.”
“You’re classed the same as we are.” Drew points to herself and Elise. “We’re not old ladies, but we’re family and they aren’t allowed to get involved with us.”
Finally getting it, I look over to the bitch that still hasn’t looked at me and I start to feel bad for her and what she does. But when I see her walk over to Brandon and send a smirk my way, all my sympathy goes, and is replaced by rage.

I look over at the families laughing and having a great time. The sight makes me smile and calm, which is a rare emotion for me lately.
“You ok?” Elise asks from beside me and I nod in reply. “Different from any Devil’s parties, huh?” She asks again.
“You could say that.” I laugh. I shouldn’t laugh, but now that I’m here, it’s easy to.
Elisa takes my hand and we join Natasha and Drew who are conveniently preparing our drinks. I eagerly take mine from Drew because I need to settle my nerves. I didn’t say I was completely calm.
Within minutes, Franky comes over to us with a huge smile. It’s a warm day so he only has his short sleeved white shirt under his leather vest and black jeans. “Girls!” He greets and holds us all in a group hug.
We all laugh while Baby and Devlin join us. “Bet you’re glad I teased Grim.” Baby whispers to me.
I nudge him away and narrow my eyes at him. “Shut up.”
“Are you enjoying yourselves?” Asks Franky.
“Yes.” I smile at him and the other girls answer the same.
“Yes.” Baby mimics me and I push him away with my hands this time.
“Hey!” He shouts the same time as I hear Brandon curse.
“The fuck?” He shouts and I look in embarrassment as Baby lands on Brandon, making his drinks land all over his shirt. Brandon frowns as he looks between me and Baby. “Wanna explain?”
“She can’t handle how much she’s attracted to me, bro.” Baby jokes from the ground.
“He was annoying me.” I frown down at him.
Brandon seems to like my answer and walks over to me. He looks at me, taking me in and it sends shivers down my spine. “I need to
