“I’m not saying anything, Connor.” I blushed. Because right now, the thought of him going down on me was making my panties wet, and if he continued talking the way that he was talking, I would change my mind, and he’d be in my bedroom, and I’d be coming on his face in ten minutes flat because it had been a really long time since I’d had a guy down there. Only the fact that I hadn’t had a recent waxing was making me hesitate. There’s no way I was letting him down there with the bush that currently existed. But, he didn’t need to know that was the reason why he wasn’t coming upstairs. I bet if I told him about my unruly bush, he’d tell me his nickname was Tarzan and he loved the jungle.
“Okay, Gemma. Well, like I said before, I had a really good night with you. A really fun date.” His voice was lower now, more sincere, and I could tell that he wasn’t teasing or joking around anymore. He took my hand and stroked it softly. “This sounds really weird, even to me, because we’ve only met each other twice, but from the first time I met you, I felt a connection, and I’m really excited to get to know you better.”
“I’m really excited to get to know you better as well, Connor,” I said almost breathlessly. If anything, his words were turning me on even more. These were words I’d waited to hear all of my life.
“I’m so happy you let me come over to give you a good night kiss. I was kicking myself when I got home realizing I hadn’t even tried to give you a kiss.”
“Why were you kicking yourself?”
“Because I was dying to feel the touch of your beautiful luscious pink lips against mine once more.”
“Really?”
“Really.” He nodded, his hazel-green eyes sincere as he stared at me. I looked at his face, and it was just so gosh dang handsome. His bone structure was out of this world, and he was one of the most masculine charismatic guys I’d ever known.
“It’s been a real pleasure getting to know you, Gemma, and no matter what happens, I want you to remember that you’re a really special woman, you’re a really beautiful woman, makeup or no makeup, and you’re sexy as hell. Even in those sweatpants and T-shirt, you’re still hot.”
“Really? You think I’m hot?” I blushed. “Thank you.”
“No, thank you,” he said, and then he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me into him. I could feel my heart thudding as he looked down at me. His eyes were sparkling as his face came closer to me. “And now I’m going to kiss you, Gemma, if that’s okay.”
“Uh huh,” I said, not even able to talk coherently.
His lips pressed against mine, firm, warm, and sweet. I kissed him back, my arms going around his neck, touching the nape of his neck, and his hair felt soft and silky, just as I’d imagined it. He deepened the kiss, and I felt his tongue sliding into my mouth. I felt his hands moving up and down until they stopped suddenly on my ass, squeezing softly, then more firmly as our tongues wrestled together.
His kiss was passionate, just as I imagined he was, and I felt like my legs were going to buckle underneath me as his hands slid up and lightly ran across the side of my breast.
“Fuck,” he whispered against my lips as he pulled away. “I need to stop now,” he groaned. His eyes were dark and filled with blatant desire. “I want you so badly, Gemma.”
“Oh yeah?” I gave him a small little smile, my heart racing.
“Yeah.” His hand pushed into the back of my neck, and I stumbled against him slightly. I could feel his hardness against my stomach, and I gasped. He wasn’t lying. He was definitely ready for more.
“So you’ll go on another date with me, Gemma?” He gave me a wry smile, his hand brushing the side of my face, pushing some hair behind my ear.
“Are you asking me on another date?” I said softly.
Don’t ask me to come upstairs right now, was all I could think in my head. If he asked me to come upstairs right now, I wouldn’t be able to say no.
“Yeah. I’m officially asking you on a third date, Gemma, please. Do you say yes?”
