to flip his shit.
"I'm sorry," Ten apologizes, and in his expression, you can tell he means it. Tennison isn't the harsh or hurtful one, so his guilt will definitely eat at him soon.
"Me too," Ross joins in. He places a quick kiss to Colt's temple, making her flush a red coloring. Of course the twins notice immediately and glare.
"I'm not. They can both deep throat the most painful cactus in the world," Lux hisses. "Without lube."
Another laugh leaves me.
"And you?" she asks, turning to me. "Are you going to apologize?"
"For what?" I feign innocence. It's not like I'm the golden boy.
"For not getting me!"
I smirk, feeling my body relax. "Did you want me to join you in the shower, Corpse? Is that it?"
"Corpse? You fucking—" Prudence starts, but Colt holds him back with her palm.
"I'm going to go back to my tower, my room, and make sure Melissa is okay. If you guys aren't back within the next five minutes, you can find your own place to stay," she offers the twins and then looks at me. "As for you, Jordan not Winthrop, the shower was plenty busy with a dick. Don't need to add a second."
"Shit," Ross mutters while the rest stare at her in open shock. She closes my mouth, which I didn't realize was open and walks past me.
When she's out of earshot, the twins close in on Ross. "You better not have touched her," Justice warns.
But Ross doesn't flinch. He just smirks. "I had her pussy way before you, and she rides a mean cock," he quips.
He's not wrong. I didn't get to feel her on top of me, but I watched Lux ram her, and that's enough for me to confirm.
"You're all a bunch of fucking boys. Did you notice, though? We are the ones she invited back." With Prudence's last jab, the twins follow after Colt, and we all stare at each other in different forms of shock.
The twins being back.
Yang being murdered.
All of us wanting the same girl.
We're in for a messy assembly in two days. Colt better heed Ross's warning. We agreed to give her a head's up. We just didn't let Colt know why.
Chapter Five
Colt
I don't wait for them to follow. I trot my ass—along with my caddy—out of Crystal and head back to Ivory. Classes don't start for another hour, and the only ones milling about are the cheerleaders.
I glare at Tara Alveceo.
You see, Tara Alveceo hates me.
I don’t know her, but she apparently despises me.
I kept wondering what was happening around me, when bad things would happen and my clothes would disappear. Apparently, that chick is the answer. If not for Mel telling me she saw Tara when we came back from Tennessee, I wouldn't know. Seeing her now reminds me.
But the big question is: why? We’re not some regressed society. There’s no need for pettiness.
“Oh, look, the vampire slut,” she titters as I walk toward Ivory. It's not a fair venture, but I'm only in one of Ross's tees and panties.
I stare at her and try not to laugh at her attempt to be cruel. I’ve dealt with much worse, so much worse.
Crossing my arms, I just watch her scowl at me, not offering her anything. She wants a fight, wants to show the school she’s a bad bitch, but I couldn’t care less. Wearing only a shirt though, that’s going to get me more comments if I’m not quick to escape. They’ll see my tattoos and scars too, that’s not something I’m remotely prepared for.
I’m only here for another year and a half. Then, I’ll run and be free. She’s nothing in the scheme of things. Bet that hurts, knowing she doesn’t matter.
Letting out a faux yawn, I tap my foot, waiting for her to move.
She stands with three other girls who are so unimportant I don’t even know their names. I’m sure Melissa has mentioned them, but to be honest, I can’t remember.
“One Arcadia guy wasn’t enough, huh? Had to bag every fucking one of the good ones,” she prods on.
That’s when a laugh slips out. I can’t help it. That’s hilarious.
“You hate me because the guys won’t dick you?”
A cough comes out of Dallas. He’s leaning on the wall, closest to the entrance of Ivory, pretending not to listen. He’s friendly and lives for drama.
“Shit, maybe I should get someone to give you an orgasm, and you’ll calm down,” I continue. “Ever heard of a vibrator or, I don’t know, other people?”
“You stupid bitch,” she
