I swallowed Robbie, the three of us moving together in a perfect rhythm.
The only thing missing was Maze.
With a loud bellow, Cab exploded inside me, pumping until he had nothing left. He pulled out just in time to see Robbie come all over my tits.
We were quiet for a second, when we heard a giggle.
Robbie tucked himself back in his pants and looked over the edge of the mezzanine to the floor below.
“Don’t mind us,” a female voice called. “We were just enjoying listening.”
Robbie laughed and made his way back over to help me get dressed.
“Want to stay over at my place tonight?” Cab asked.
I’d gathered his condo was the de facto guys’ clubhouse, and that while the other two had their own places, they frequently gathered at the one with the views and the hot tub.
I couldn't blame them.
“I’d love to. Will you come too, Robbie?” I asked.
He broke out in a huge grin as he put his glasses back on. “Shit. What do you think, I’m an idiot?”

I couldn’t believe I was doing what I was about to do. It was unfathomable.
But I had some weird, sad, convoluted hope that if I talked to Vaughn one last time in person, he might get some closure and go back to his life in Philly.
And most importantly, get out of my damn hair.
“You look nice,” he said, joining me at the corner table I’d snagged in Starbucks. “Can I get you anything?”
I pointed to my latte. “Already took care of it.”
That’s because he was thirty minutes late. Like always.
“Oh. Right. Sorry I’m late.”
As I faced him, all I could think about was how lucky I was that he cheated on me, and that I met the guys. My handsome, sexy guys.
“How long are you staying in Denver?” I asked, turning slightly in my chair to avoid his overly intense gaze.
There was a time when I would have been tickled by that. But no more.
“I'm here until I can convince you to come back with me to Philly.” He sat back in his seat, like my joining him was a foregone conclusion.
Asshole.
“Vaughn, maybe you should have thought of that before you let Suza suck your dick.”
The smile melted from his face and he leaned onto the table to make his point. “I made a mistake. I’m sorry. I was… nervous about getting married. It was a terrible thing to do.”
I thought back to the photo of him with his hand up another woman’s skirt. I’d always wondered who was behind it. Not that it mattered. What did was that he was busted, and I avoided making a terrible mistake.
“It seems you think your driving cross country to see me to apologize assumes I give a shit, and that I would consider our being a couple again.”
He shrugged. “Well, of course. I mean, what the hell else do you want?”
Bam.
What did I want? Excellent question. And I felt like I was getting closer to clarity on that every day.
I was losing my patience. “I can tell you want I don’t want, and that is you.”
He pressed his lips together. At this point a normal person would graciously give up and go away. But not Vaughn, the entitled fuck.
So I decided to make it crystal clear. “What you don’t seem to comprehend is that I want nothing to do with you. Ever. I think you are a disgusting excuse for a man, and I thank my lucky stars I confirmed your terrible personality problems before it was too late.”
He smiled smugly, nodding slowly, looking out Starbucks’ window at the passersby.
Then he turned back to me. “Look. We belong together.”
“No, Vaughn, we don’t—”
He held his hands up and cut me off. “I feel so strongly about this that I’m willing to go to great lengths to get you back to Philly. Starting with sharing the photo I have of you doing your little dirty dancing thing.”
Fuck. I’d thought that was off the table. But I guess when you’re desperate, you’ll try anything.
I spoke slowly to remain calm, but the truth was that if I’d had something sharp, it would have been poking out of his chest at that very moment.
“Why do you want me so badly you’ll do anything to get me back? Why would you want to be with someone who hates you?” I asked.
I had a feeling I knew what was coming next.
“You come from a good family. You’re a nice girl.”
And there it was. He wanted to have a congressman for
